It really pisses me off. I just found out they just charged me 129.99 on July 2012 and I could have disputed it thru BoA. Lucky right? I went back my old statements and guess what! I didn't catch the exact same transaction happend in 2011. I called BoA again and they said they could only dispute up to 120days. I contacted 888-292-4298 (mp shopper scammers)and this guy said they do not have my information, I asked how this transaction happened and the guy told and he can't tell me unless he has my record or MP shopper account number. wow really?? I really dont know how to fix this guys and get my money back!

They just did it again.  I called MP Shopper and screamed my head off.  Said someone checked a box on the bill.  Well, since I get the bill and pay by computer, not sure who was doing that checking.  Why doens't the FTC do something about these people.  Bank of America doesn't do a single thing about this.  That is honestly baffling to me.  I went back over my old records (online) and noticed MP Shopper had also done this in October of 2010.  I had caught the 2009 fraud, missed the 2010 fraud, and just caught the 2011 fraud.  Folks you really need to check your statements since this stuff and stuff like this pops up without any action on your part and Bank of America couldn't care less that its visa is the mechanism used.  Remember, Bank of America gets a tiny percentage of every charge MP Shopper does.  So, there is little incentive for Bank of America to fix this problem.  It is not a problem for them, in fact, I would imagine it is factored into their line items revenues.

Bank of America officials have a hand in this scam, they keep pushing me around over the phone when i told them that someone from MP SHOPPER spoke to me to refund the money and refuse to give street address and phone numbers. This is a great scam happening in America.

I was a victim of this MP Shopper scam 3 years ago and can't believe it's still happening. I went to the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection website and started the process of filing a complaint but I have no idea of who the company is. Do you? They ask for all kinds of information about the company. I think all us victims should get together and make some noise, if not to them then to our congressional reps.

I was checking through my credit card statements for the last year while doing taxes and from March 2009 I found a charge for $129.99 on my account. On my statement it said that the charge was from MP Shopper. I called the company and I asked to have my charge refunded. The first representative that I spoke to said that she could cancel the membership, but not refund the money. The rep said that we filled out a form that gave express permission for them to take the money for this membership that allows you to get discounted prices on certain items. Since the rep couldn't refund the money, I asked to speak with her supervisor. When speaking with him, I found out that this charge not only happened once, but three times! It's an annual charge. The first was $119.99 and the second and third were $129.99. I asked for a copy of this form that I supposedly signed to be sent to me and the supervisor said he could and that we should see it within seven business days. However, he said that he could only refund two of the charges. So I asked to see the next supervisor and finally I was refunded a total of $379.97. MAKE SURE YOU ASK TO SEE IF THEY HAVE WITHDRAWN ANY CHARGES FROM PREVIOUS YEARS!!!!

They did this twice to me. I'm sooooo mad. It's making me loose trust in BOA. They are trying to scam customers by putting that MP Shopper on everyone's bill and reimbursing those who "notice" it. I bet that there are many who use their credit cards so much that thay propably can't recall all their purchases and are getting scammed.

i got the same charge of $129.99 & was told i filled out a form. i don't ever subscribe to these things. in fact i don't even have this card anymore- i paid it off & cut it up!! i called the # on my statement 888-292-4248 & was told they would remove $106.77 ONLY from my balance. i asked for a copy of the form to be sent to me & to talk to a supervisor. at that point, mark wright came on the phone. i told him i'd be calling the better business bureau when i hung up & suddenly was told that the $129.99 charge would be removed within 48 hrs & i'd receive a copy of the form in the mail that i "supposedly" signed. people need to call & get these charges removed. the CC companies are finding any way to gouge their customers!!

These criminals just did the 129 charge to my 98 year old mother, who was actually in the hospital when this happened.  I monitor her accounts online and saw it.  Called B of A and they have told me it is being reversed.  I asked, all innocent like, "how does this happen?"  The poor soul fielding my call admitted that it is done by the credit card folks at B of A.  Shame on you, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.

My husband and I just had the same $129 charge on our credit card.  My husband called and the women he spoke to said he had filled out a form and sent it in and that is why we had the charge.  He insisted on getting a full refund AND asked that the company  send a copy of the form they said he had filled out because we didn't remember filling it out.  They forwarded him to many supervisors and he kept insisting on getting a copy of the form.  In the end, they said they could not produce the form, but they were going to double our refund $258.  Obviously this is a huge scam, but at least we made some money off the deal.  If you get a charge on your credit card from "mp shopper" INSIST on seeing a copy of this form...hopefully you will get double the refund too.

How old was your last transaction that BofA refunded the payment? I am in the same situation as you were, but BofA declined to reimburse me the $99.99 MP Shopper charged me on 9/2007 as it was more than one year old.

We have just been billed by  Bank America for $129 on a new Bank America
card which we have never used. ON checking last years bills , we found a
bill for $119  charged by the same company, M.P. Shopping. Bank America
are looking into it through (Billing dispute) but managed to cut me off
after speaking to three different employee's. They did say they would remove the $120 charge, and indicated they would re-emburse last years
$119 charge. Will let you know if Bank America Visa card keep their word.

I had the same charge $129.99 on my BoA card without any of my recollection to apply such membership.   They (MP Shopper) only refund $109.99 not full $129.99.  They told me that I cashed in $10.- cupon which automatically accept their offer.   I never ever cashed in those offers.   I am very dissapointed BoA to offering this type of scam to credit card holders.   I

Event Reminder
I disputed this charge with Bank of Amer after it appeared on my statement.
MP Shopp 888-292-4248US for a 129$. BOA says they will delete it. But it certainly appears afer reading other post that this is happening only to BOA customers. They must be behind it. They customer service reps coy tone at BOA leads me to believe he seen this charge and has heard complaints from other customers before.

I called the 1800-789-6685 customer service number and went to the dispute line. I talksed with a BoA rep and got the charge credited back to my account. IDK exactly what it is and could care less.
