Most annoying. I like what someone else wrote:  line 'em up and shoot 'em all at sunset. Great plan. We have our phone switch programmed to automatically recognize this number and dump right them into voice jail. Predictably they never leave any messages... much like the dopey Al Gore with his foregone conclusions, given that global-warming is a total junk science... allow me to translate:  "just trust us, bend over, this isn't going to hurt…" yeah right. YOU LIE!!!

Where are all the stupid Obama supporters so invested in protecting me with their nanny state regarding every facet of my life when it comes to telemarketing? I need relief for my health from telemarketing and not forced health care reform, socialism, fascism in an egalitarian-utopia. Utopia is when Al Qaeda kills off all of telemarketing. Everyday 3 times a day... this is my work number and its sooooo annoying!!

I get calls from this number all day long. I don't answer, they never leave a message.

They call 4-10x's a day & of course never leave a message. Every so often I answer it by putting it on speaker but not saying a word nor making a sound. All I can hear is some foreign accent saying
MEESEES PAWS ? Is theese MEECES PARS ?   This goes on 10 seconds or so & then they hang up.

No one handles these people or any other harrassing phone callers.
You are on your own. Your tax dollars at work.....
It's like internet worms, once you acknowledge your existance, the worms etc. are in your life unless you change your phone number, unlist it and never ever ever give it out to anyone again.

I can't answer my phone anymore .  Seems like a lot of money to spend for a landline when you can't answer your own phone. I have no choice, I run a small business from my home office

I keep getting calls from this number as well.  When I pick up they don't say anything.  I have stopped answering these calls now.

These slimeballs are 1/3 of my caller ID when I get home. The one time I got someone he said sorry and hung up. These are real low lifes. I have been trying to find their real #, so I can call 20-30x an hour.

I've received several calls from this number and refuse to answer.  Let call go to voice mail but of course, no message is left.

aNNOYING...calls SEVERAL times per day and HANGS UP!

Received numerous calls from this number in the last two weeks.  Claiming to update a business directory.  Same questions each time about verifying contact information.  Once the information is provided, the caller wants to put you through to a supervisor to confirm the information that was just given.  Waste of time.  But what is most annoying is being phoned from this number so many times with a request for the same information.

If you have caller ID and can see it is 888-296-1483 pick the phone up then lay it down, listen while they try to talk to dead air then hang up when they go silent.  This way they have to pay for the message units for the connection.  They will only do it once more then take you off the list

They've called me anywhere from 1 to 10 times in one day. I called the number and a recorded message says that the call my business received was for a short survey on environmental business practices in my area...what crap!  I reported the number to the FCC online.  There is strength in numbers; if we all file complaints, the FCC will put them out of business.  Here is the link:  http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

I called the number back and got the telco message  "if you would like to make a call, please hang up ...."

They call to verify my info, I told them to send me a check for $1,000.  After I cash it, that would be their verification that they have the right name and address, they hang up on me everytime but then conitinue to call me 3 to 4 times a day every day.
They will get the same responce everytime.

This number calls several times a day and when I pick up, it automatically hangs up. Im a receptionist and its a waste of my time.

I've gotten about a dozen calls from this number and as they're calling my work number I don't answer toll-free numbers....never leave a message.  Yep, let's all take out our 22s, line 'em up and shoot them.  They can leave their boots on.

i hate telemarketers and give them all a verbal beating when they call. The small business I work for has been targeted by the "online business listing" people.

I get a call almost everyday in the afternoon from this number. Most of the time I get a click click click and the phone then goe's dead on the line.
Today I kept saying Hello. A woman said Hello and then hung up.
Its sad that some people resort to annoying others in thier homes. What ever happen'ed to do onto others as you would want them to do to you?  Sick world.
