Many people would believe this to be a scam but in reality this company does work for Verizon. They are partners of Verizon for 15 years and are contracted by Verizon to make sure Verizon customers continue to recieve the best services possible. Instead of rasiing your bill, majority of the calls are to help keep your bill low as they are calling to renew discounts you recieve on your Verizon service. I know recieving calls by telemarketers all day becomes tiresome but it could be a great thing to give us five minutes of your time.

These people have been calling my company for weeks.  Glad I got wise enough to finally look this number up.  Why was I not surprised to find out that this is a scam?  Pathetic.

Sure as shite their rep called back. Of course this time I was prepared for her. I asked her to confirm our code on the account, she proceeded to give me our account number. I reminded her we have a passcode, or password on the account to prevent fraud and could she tell me what the four digit was. Of course she did not know the code.! She said that code is on our end of things, I said it's in the verizon system and they have me confirm it everytime I call them and I need to you confirm it now so that I know you are Verizon. Obvioulsy she knew I smelled a rat then and excused herself off the phone. Anyone working here must be either very ballsy or very desparate.

Just got a call from them. They seemed unsure when I asked them questions about early termination fees of what plans they were offering. The lady said she worked for verizon which is our carrier. I got a little suspicious so I told her she would have to call me back as I had a meeting to attend. She said it would only take a few minutes for her to go through a confirmation. I said call back later on. Then I googled her number from caller ID and sure enough she was not truthful. I am waiting for her to call back and I am going to give her hell for lying. You can lookout a thief but you cannot lookout a liar.

Truth be told, every corporation that is highly successful in the world subcontracts - most would be suprised to realize that even some customer service calls are taken by "Verizon agents". The facts are through association, "verizon agents" are frowned upon because of other telemarketers (third party vendors and resellers, which is not the same thing as an agent). Be glad your speaking with someone from america who is trained in Verizon products and processes. Agents are also a neutral party in most cases advising customers to change there package, unlimited long distance (if they dont need it) and so on where direct verizon employees are not allowed to change the "ANNUAL TERM VOLUME" unless the customer requests for this to be done. Some people explot customers who are ignorant with things that have to do with there phone bill, telemarketing is different than any other industry - you'll have your bad seeds that take advantage. The reality is that due to accountability these people are fired fairly quickly.

I have been a Verizon agent for years and I have a customer base who deals exclusively with me when it comes to new locations and the like because of proven track record of helping them in the past with there billing.

There are literally customers with Verizon that hasnt changed anything in there package since 1987. You dont understand how common it is for a customer to have month to month pricing or an older rate and not be aware of it and than how grateful they are that you made them aware.

I actually challenge some customers who think that Im a scammer, If I can help them, I fax everything in writing, and explain logically why Verizon would want to maintain there competetive nature with other companies and offer renewals or bundles.

Retention can be done 6 months in advance, which is convinient for customers who do not want the hassle of doing it last minute and for customers to recieve special bundles or packaging or promotions before they expires.

On the authorization we explain termination liability, our names, that we are calling on behalf of Verizon, and unless you are ignorant of corporate policy you would be appreciative that you are speaking with a competent, neutral, trained professional unless you are speaking with a new employee who like "ex-employee" will not be there for that much longer ;)

They are not Verizon. They are "Nobel One or Nova 1". They called to tell me that Verizon was discontinuing the Freedom for Business package but we'd get the same services, at a discount.

I called Verizon who investigated the number and confirmed that they are scammers who talk confidently about your account, acting like they know things about your account, and then get you to agree to account changes while recording your authorization. Verizon said this number was NOT VERIZON.

She insisted that she was not working for a reseller and the prerecorded announcement on this number says "Thank you for calling your authorized Verizon for Business Specialist."

They are obligated by LAW to tell you that they are not Verizon, particularly at the time they record you, and I got as far as the beginning of the recording and I told her I would not authorize anything without confirming that she was in fact working for VERIZON, not WITH them, not on BEHALF of them, not as a reseller...

It may be a scam, it may not be, but they are certainly over aggressive and unclear of what they are offering. We asked for it in writing, and they don't want to send it to us, they just say this is a great deal and less money.  If it is so great, send it to me in writing.  If there are real discounts, I do not believe there are, I certainly think it is not worth the risk.

Apparently you are misinformed. I received a call from Michelle who claimed she was an EMPLOYEE direct for verizon. Told me that my rates were expired and no longer available and my lines would go up an additional $32.00 per line unless I let her setup a new plan for me. I told her I would call her back and she gave me the number 888-296-6102.I had just changed service directly with Verizon just 4 months ago. So don't tell me you don't scam.

I got a call from this number and talked  with a guy who said he was working w/verizon and he needed to change my acct as verizon was getting rid of the dial 9 option on business lines. He knew my name and business name.I told him nothing came up on caller id (which his number did appeared) and did not want to talk to him,I then told him If he worked for verizon if he could please give me verizons 1-800 number and i would contact them and do what was needed. So he gave me the same number he was calling from and thats when I smelt a rat.So I call verizon and told them what happen and they told me that they are having troubles with fraud and these types of calls. They asked me for the number and that some one from verizons security dept would be contacting me about this call.So if  you get a call from anyone claiming to be from Verizon write the number down hang up and call verizon to report these idiots.

You are very misinformed, the company is actually Red Hat Marketing and we are on the Verizon website as a contracted company hired by Verizon to handle renewals. Verizon does not make outbound calls therefore anybody claiming to be verizon is actually NOT. This fact does not make us any less legitimate. What we do is extend the discounts that you (the customer) initiates. This is a favor to all those companies receiving significant discounts to contact you and remind you to renew before your discounts expire..GEEZ, heaven forbid we try to make sure you keep the lowest rate possible. We do not slam, scam, switch, or change anything. I value my job and we are a good company, to those who continue to call us scammers I truly hope your rates go up.

no, it's a FREE service that YOU signed up for, all we do is renew what you initiate. We DO represent Verizon, we are on their website as a company contracted BY Verizon as Verizon makes no outbound calls. NO ONE THAT SAYS THEY ARE VERIZON IS ACTUALLY VERIZON, that does not make us fraudulant

Spoke with Dina pretending that they are from Verizon. She said I am going to loose my special pricing if I don't renew.
What is funny is the fact that I renewed with Verizon a couple of weeks ago for 3 years and I got an order confirmation number. So imediatly, she said everything is ok. I am not sure what these people are doing but they might want to verify who makes decisions in the company so they will sell their listings.

Can someone from fraud stop these people ??

Because they are not Verizon, they are a third party web hosting service that offers nothing, does nothing but are able to put charges on your phone bill.

Yes they will,  they got me, and i never even answered any questions.

The company name is Soba, on your phone bill it will show up as Discounted Telecommunications or OAN Serives, billed on belhalf or Telecharge Resouce, and I am sure various other names.  Contact your Service Provider, explain what is happening, provide the phone number and they will put a third party block on your phone for free for web hosting only.

This will not stop the calls, but will stop the billing charges.  Verizon for one is aware of this scam and creditied my account for all 11 months of charges from these a ho)(#&&*'s .

Something needs to be done to stop them.

These sales people make their rounds here in Los Angeles EVERY WEEK. They come in and want to "review" our verizon bill for 30 minutes. Waste of our time, employee's time... NO, I do not want to review my bill every fricken week!!

And weekly phone calls also, wanting to review our plan. This has gotten so harrasing for us that I am considering filing a formal complaint against Verizon.

Same thing. At least 2-3 phone calls from them. Claiming to be Verizon.
When I asked, are they actual Verizon or they represent Verizon, he confirmed that they are just representitives.
I told them to e-mail me their offer and stop calling.
So he did. E-mail is: randy.ballard@all-solutions4u.com.
Web site www.all-solutions4u.com doesnt even exist.
Looked over my paperwork. We just renewed with Verizon contract for a year 6 months ago, why would someone call me about my contract renewal when I still have 6 months to go???
