This number calls my house too, I have no idea who it is

I recieved two calls from this number today, and no message left.

Its Kaplan University, they are usually calling because they need financial aid documents. Answer the phone or call them back and deal with the issue and they will stop calling.

I agree with you all I have sent in my forms I can not even count how many times now and still they give excuses. They call all the time about the same thing even when I sent the forms in. They are telling me I am about to be dropped with just 3 classes left go figure. Does any one have that number for who is sueing Kaplan because I sure would like to be on that list along with 5 other people.

I got a call with no one else on the line.  I called this number back and they said I owed them financial statements and tax returns.  I told them I am using TA from the military and they cleared out  my info that they needed.  Hoping they won't call again.  Not sure.  Overall not near as bad as the rest of the posts on here, once I called them back that is.

Actually there is a Law firm looking for students who have attended Kaplan, and are taking a Class action suit against the school for falsely advertising their courses, instructors and the successes they've lied about their students getting. It's all about the money. They don't care if you get an education, hands on is not their style now that the founder of the school is deceased there will never be any real learning.

Its because you are in their computer more than one time. I was getting harassing emails and phone calls from them as well. I called my advisor and said what's their problem? Everything is removed to stop the 2nd set of junk!

When I graduated with my BS in Web Development the school could not put 2 & 2 together that I was the same person getting the Masters' degree.

Took FOREVER for them to understand my ssn and the other ssn was the same person - same number!

I have to wonder at the callibur of people they hire!!

It's a rip off too, the courses are not hands on, all you do is write - no placement guaranteed like other schools.

Bad choice if you want to get a real job!

This number call my phone number and then when I say hello hello it hangs up.

I wish financial aid WOULD call me.  They owe me $825 for the last month and will not answer my calls and keep giving me the runaround on email.

I get calls from them too, but that's because I owe them money. Pay what you owe them, talk to your academic advisor and your financial aid advisor and get your situation straightened out. Kaplan doesn't do the work for you...you have to do it. I've been going to school there now for three years and the only time they call me is when I've forgotten to send something in. And they've always been quick to fix it. Financial Aid isn't an easy thing to apply for, nor should it be.

I am also getting these phone calls and I quit going to that school over a month ago. I also have sent them the documents they wanted at least 8 times and they say their either not in their system yet or they have not gotten them yet. I am sick of it too and they call me like 7 times a day and I even have their calls on my missed call log on my cell phone. they have called me 63 times in the past months. I have talked to countless people about it over the phone at their office and none of them can give me a straight answer about it. They want my father's fasfa signature and they want my dependant documents signed and turned in and I have faxed them emailed them and even went to the post office and mailed them and they never seem to get them. They need to get their stuff straight or me and my father will be sueing.

I picked up the phone after the 50th time they called me. It is an calling service for Kaplan University. Kaplan contracted this company out to tell people to call their advisors or to call the business office. The company as you've noticed does not leave messages and will call you until the end of time. Just pick up the phone or they will keep calling!!!!

I, too, attended Kaplan. I was with them 7 weeks and got fed up with their financial department. They would not answer my emails, and the financial advisers, and the enrollment counselors also remain "mute" to complaints from students. I guess if they ignore the emails they do not have to "deal" with the problem.

Here is what I am doing: Sending letters, certified with return receipt requested to the Attorney General's office in Iowa, Florida,my home state, and to the FTC. I will also send another certified return receipt requested letter (with all copies attached) to the FAFSA and Ed Fund. I have kept all of my email copies I sent, as well as the "few" emails I received, since day 1, and will be attaching copies to each certified mail.

The Attorney General's office is to protect consumers, including students. Institutes of higher education are businesses. The product is education and knowledge. The income source are students. This comes under the jurisdiction of the Attorney General. (Attorney General, not District Attorney).

Hello this is so funny I have sent my financial aid documents in atleast 5 times. They kept telling me to do it and finally they wanted them a 6th time and i said no, and continued going to school their. Its all of them Xavier and the advisors.

They call me too saying I have missing docments...  They also call when I email my advisor.  I hate the fact they call me after I send an email.   I SENT A DARN EMAIL THAT MEANS EMAIL ME BACK DO NOT CALL ME !!!!  GET THE POINT KAPLAN

Actually, I just DID report them to the FCC!!

I also keep getting calls from them!  I still attend the school, considering I am almost done with my BA in Criminal Justice, but I have sent them ALL OF MY DOCUMENTS and they STILL keep calling!  I have sent them an email, threatening to call the FCC if they do not seise and desist these calls immediately!  I am planning on filing a complaint with the FCC and I suggest that anyone who gets these calls, whether you are a student or not, to file a complaint against them.  This is just getting ridiculous now and I'm getting SICK OF IT!!

These people call my house at least 6 times daily. They kicked me out of the school because they said that they did not have my financial aid documents that I sent them 4 count it for times. So, now they call and say that they want a copy of my social security card. Told them I no longer go to their school and hung up. They called back and my husband answered the phone and he told them to put us on a do not call list and we were told that we were put on that at least 5 times already and yet the still keep calling. I am contacting a lawyer because I can't stand the harrassment from these people anymore.

these people call all-day long i am tired of them even on the weekends they are calling i don't answer any of their calls.
