We have Ooma for our home phone.   Just blocked this number.   I have no bad debt, just a common name

I guess if they make enough calls some poor sap will get sucked in and send them money

I got a call from this number this morning.  I answered it but no one was on the line.  I hung up and checked the number here and read the postings.  I called the number back and a woman with an Indian accent answered.  I informed her that I received a call but no one was on the line.  She said, " At this number we are looking for Jessica S*******."  I informed her that I have lived at this address with this phone number for three years and have never heard of Jessica.  She apologized and said she would remove my phone number from their list.

I am also on the do not call list but I think they are getting around the list by claiming that they bought the old debt which creates a business relationship.  Previous business relationships are exempt from the list until you specifically asked to be removed.

I keep getting calls from this number and all they do is breathe into the phone.

No message but got the FAX line.  HA some justice in their stupidity.

I get that same call several times a week.  Always ask for a different name and they repeat my number.  They say they'll remove my number, but the next day same call different name.  Caller sounds like an
hindu voice.

I don't understand why these people call and hang up. They aren't trying to sell anything, but call back and hang up. Whats the deal ???

This number has called a few times this month. First I did not answer because I did not know number. After they called a few times I answered and line was just silent so I hung up.

got a call from this company looking for someone who has not lived in my house in over 5 years, told them in no uncertain terms that they need to take this number off their calling list. And i called back to see if they would answer by company name and they did not, nor is their caller id saying the company name, it just says 800 service. called back to make sure that the number does not call again.

This number keeps calling me, three days know. When I answer, no one answers back. Looking the number up, it states it's a known telemarketer.

There is reason to call me.  I am not on any list for bad credit. I have filed a report with the FCC about these calls.

once a day for the past month i heard its people tryng to get info out of your phone ?sometimes they answer you when you say hello other times there speaking Spanish.

Continuously receiving calls. They say I owe a debt and ask if I live at a certain address. Not my address. Keep telling me that that there is a valid debt I have to pay. Refuse to give me their address or send me any evidence of a debt. Filed a complaint with the FCC. Hope it works.

got a call from this number looking for someone who this phone isnt regestered too. asking me if i know the person and how to contact them. i told them not to call again or i would report them to the local authorities for harrasment

They have tried SEVERAL illegal collections on my number. (including but not limited to) Calling out of normal hours, discussing my debt with other parties, calling family and harassing them,  cussing, telling me LIES about how they are "allowed" to operate, Calling AFTER I LEGALLY asked for no more phone contact (you have this right in the USA.

The only law on recording that anyone here needs to worry about (all 50 states) Both parties need to be aware of the recording. No one needs to consent...just need to be aware. Since they announce the recording, ALL LIABILITIES are out the door....happy recording. You don't even need to mention it! They already did!!

Called today and asked for my husband.  I put him on the phone and they told him that they were recording the conversation.  He told him (Indian sounding man) that he was going to record the conversation also.  He told my husband that he was not authorized to record the conversation so my husband told him that he would not authorize them to record either and hung up on him.

I have no debt and they keep calling me.. even after I have called them back...

These guys keep calling. Today they responed that "they speak FU@KING English" and "You are mandated to speak with us" - I told him to blow me, eat pork and die. Whom ever owns this number needs their a** kicked for allowing these pricks to have access to telephones.

I have been getting the same call and they never will leave a message.  When I called back, they said that I owed them for past BMG accounts.  I just about paid it and then decided to tell them to mail me a bill and I would take care of it then.  They said they would send me a receipt after I paid it. They continued to argue until I hung up.  They called again today.  It is a scam.

I got a call from the same number today.  They said I owed them $78 from a BMC music account I had in 2006.  I don't recall having an account with them in 2006 either, told me I was making all my payments then skipped out on the last one for $78.  I got a call last May from a company called Trident Asset Management with the exact same story, I paid them the $78 even though I didn't recall having the account, I didn't want it to show up on my credit.  Funny thing though, as soon as I told him this conversation was being recorded, he hung up on me.  Seems pretty funny to me we got the same call for the same collection and almost the same amount, I think this is some kind of scam!!

Allied Interstate 1-888-297-4214 a debt collection company said I had  BMG Music bill for $ 81.00 owed since 2006..
They had my name as Mic (wrong) verified the address but I never had an account to my recollection with BMG who from what I can find on the internet is no longer in business.  Sounds like a scam to me...especially since this is 2012 and this is the first I've heard of all this.  I disputed the account today with Allied rep named Yetlee.

This number calls every 10 minutes on my cell phone from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.  They need to stop or they will be reported

They have called 5 times already today and it is only noon. I never answer numbers I don't know.  Never a message. JUST QUIT CALLING.

Calls started Dec. 2011.   Now my number is called 20 to 30 times a day.  No one ever answers or leaves a voice mail for this number.  If they would say something I could tell them they have the wrong number.  My phone number is new for me ( Oct 28th 2011 I received this new number from AT&t.  Please stop calling me!
