I found this on my phone bill also for 14.95 for efax service.  Love it it was being charged to my fax line.  I did call the 888-301-3724.  They said I had responded to a markieting email and subscribed.  They claim they provide a secure online backup and efax service.  Secure!  You have to be kidding me when I got slammed!  Supposedly I am receiving a refund.   For those who blame AT&T I am not a fan of theirs but have to use them do to my job,  but this is not their issue.  Many companies do services that are charged on you phone bill.  YOu should notify thtem but the problem is with the marketer.  I am also reporting this company to my ISP, since this is supposedly how the order came in.

Was charge 29.20 on my AT&T bill for Enhanced Services!  Not sure how this happened!  I called AT&T and they reversed the charges.  Let them know so they can stop this company, person or whatever.

We don't even have a physical phone hooked up - we only have the number for our security system.  We have no voicemail so I have no idea how they charged us for this 888 call.

we received no calls, no email, but suddenly have a charge on our at&t phone bill from "enhanced services" for $42.55.  Called the number, got routed to the company, but the voicemail cut off before i could leave a message.

I just got the charge,  about 2 years ago I had 3 of these show up at once.  Now I have to waste another 3 hours of my life dealing with this again.  AT&T are repeat offenders in not protecting their customers.

We caught this one on our phone bill as well. We are in Kansas as several others I have seen are, and also use AT&T as everyone else does. It makes me wonder how they are managing to get our information.

I agree Maggie.  Just got off the phone with Enhanced whatever.  Never authorized this to be added to my telephone bill.  They will only credit me with this month's $14.95 charge. What a crock!!!!  I even asked to speak to a supervisor who never stopped talking for me to get a word in edgewise.  AT&T is going to have to deal with this or they will lose all of their clients.  Just had a good offer made by Charter to me last night.  How ironic. My whole family and myself have had the same phone number with AT&T for over 50 years. The worse thing about Enhanced is they only need your birthdate and an email address to authorize charging this to your telephone bill. This billing started in June and has been going on ever since.  Not authorized by me...charges of almost $60.

I'm on a fixed income so I watch my bills very closely.  Enhanced Services put $12.95 on my AT&T bill which I caught immediately.  I called AT&T and they told me this is 3rd party billing and to call Enhanced Services and talk to them.  I did this and they agreed to take it off.  I was told they had already done the billing for next month so it will be there again, but they would remove it.  I deducted $12.95 from the amount I paid AT&T for two (2) months straight.  On the third or fourth month AT&T gave me two (2) credits of $12.95 each.  I called them up to let them know they did not owe me those credits because I never paid them to begin with (I deducted them from my bills).  They said they appreciate me calling, but assured me their bill is correct!!!

We got charges on our phone bill for 14.99 a month dating back to november, we couldn't figure out why our phone bill was so high, so we called CenturyLink and they told us about the third party charges...by ESVI...WTF?  We called to dispute it and they gave us the run around, but agreed to finally refund our money and stop the charges...we don't know how they got started anyways...

You bet I got hit with two company's for $14.95 each. I am 66 and on ss And can not pay this stupid bill for something I didn't ask for. What happened to mar bell? She wqould turn over in her grave. I am going to the attur general tomorrow. I spent better then 2 hours on the phone. One place told me I will pay it or else. At 66 what else is he talking about?

Here is what is bogus about AT&T and these "cramming charges".  AT&T claims that the company has your account number and that is why as a company these charges are honored. HELLO--my account number is nothing more than my phone number which is a matter of PUBLIC RECORD.  Further, the only way these companies are being paid is by AT&T.  I make my check out to AT&T and then AT&T IS DISTRIBUTING THIS MONEY TO THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!  There is a very simple solution that AT&T could institute.  Give every customer a Pin Number.  Then when and only when a customer gives their account number and PIN NUMBER would someone else be able to put charges on their AT&T Bill.  This is a security issue that the FTC needs to stop NOW.  I urge everyone to file a formal complaint with the FTC.  I am guessing that once the FTC is bombarded with formal complaints this practice will stop abruptly.

I have been a customer of AT &T (SW Bell) for more than 30 years?this is unacceptable. I realized my AT&T bill had increased by 14.95.  I contacted AT&T and was told that a 3rd party service, Enhanced Services had been allowed to charge my account for services that I DID NOT authorize.  I was given a phone number to contact them?to have it removed.  Of course, that was a lost cause!   Funny thing, AT&T can not talk to me about my own bill without me telling them my SSN # and date other information but they can add ?extra services? to my account without asking me??????  I authorized nothing to be added to my account and I should not be responsible to sit on the phone on hold for any length of time trying to get it removed.   If AT&T cannot resolve this?my only choice will be to have my home phone DISCONNECTED!!!!  With this company 30 + YEARS PEOPLE!!!!  This is nothing short of ROBBERY!!

I cannot BELIEVE that AT&T allowed some third-party company called "Email Discount Network LLC" that we have NEVER made contact with to stick a fraudulent RECURRING monthly charge of $15 on our phone bill. Infact, AT&T sneaked the information onto our phone bill under the bullsh*t label of "Enhanced Services" with NO warning or description. Even after a conference call with AT&T and the company when it was clear that the charge was fraudulent, AT&T informed us that the charge would have to remain on our bill for the next 60 DAYS.

I've already started complaints with the attorney general's office, FTC, and FCC, both against Email Discount Network and AT&T. Everyone else posting here please do the same.

Found a charge on my Bill from these dirt bags for e-mail services. Called them to have it removed, they calmed it would be. I also filed a complaint with the FCC, MO Attorney General. If they take me to Collections I will hire an attorney and sue for credit fraud.

Just received my phone bill and there was a charge on it for 29.90 for Enhanced Services.  I called the number and it said it for ESVI.  I talked to a representative who said that my husband had signed up for 24/7 unlimited MP3 downloads.  He also told me that it was a monthly charge. I told him we didn't sign up for it because we only use iTunes.  He agreed to cancel our service but seemed ticked off when I demanded a credit for this month's bill.  This is the second time this has happened in the last 3 years.

Second month of it being on our phone bill. Found it last month - was given a credit by AT&T and had a block placed that this company won't bill us. Tacked on to June's bill. Again. Tried calling with the company (and the billing company) only to have the call go unanswered. Contacted the FCC and KS Attorney General, but neither were very positive in an outcome here. I'm furious.

The worst part? If you don't pay, they send a collection agency to get you. That's right - a collection agency.

FIX THE STUPID LOOPHOLES!!

I'll add one-this just showed up on my AT&T bill for April.  Got the same run arouns from AT&T as everyone else.  When I called the number it was for ESVI and they informed me that someone had signed up for 24/7 unlimited MP3 downloads using my phone number and if the phone number if valid they have the right to bill me.  What a load of Bull!!  They said they'd take it off but it will take up to 3 billing cycles.  AT&T is sending me a "no slam" agreement where 3rd parties cannot bill on my line.

I was going to pay my AT&T bill and found additional charge 14.95 under Enhanced Services. I was confused. I was thinking the whole day to figure out what additional service I have ordered. I thin called AT&T and they redirected my call to some company. The lady who received my call told me that someone has registered for a service which I don't know. The name she gave me was not mine. I hung up the phone and called AT&T customer service. I was really angry as to why my AT&T bill has an amount from this company. The lady from AT&T told me they have to bill me by law for services from other companies. AT&T can not talk to me about my own bill without me telling them my SSNo and date of birth but they put some bill from other company without asking me???? I have told the lady from AT&T that I will not pay the 14.95. She told me she has filed a dispute or something. What a scam. Think of how many ppl pay their bill without looking at the details.

HOW CAN AT&T ALLOW SUCH KIND OF STUPID THING TO HAPPEN TO IT'S CLIENTS????????????????????

I just called them too and the 888-301-3724 number answers ESVI.  Really you can't even give out your phone number anymore without someone using it illicitly.  The info here has helped me cause I was on hold with AT&T for about 15 minutes.  I'll call back tomorrow or deal with it via email.

I called ATT and they told me that I would have to call the company and have it taken off.  I called the number, talked with a lady, she told me that it was done by a web site that someone looked at and that agreed me to the charges.  I am contacting the BBB and the MO Attorney General's office this weekend to report this.  I am also going to notify the FCC and tell them what I think.  How many thousands of people are having this taken off their phone bill??  This company is getting rich off the regular people that use ATT and other companies for their phone service.

I just talked with these folks (they're in India...) and was told that I'd responded to an email and signed up for online voice mail.  I said I hadn't, she insisted that I had, and I just kept repeating that I hadn't until she said they'd refund the charge.  THEN, she wanted an email address to send a confirmation of the refund.  I told her that they should have it since I was supposed to have asked for they're services via email, and asked what email address they had.  She gave a yahoo address that wasn't mine - I should have written it down as she talked, but didn't - doh!  It feels freaky, like someone is hacking into my stuff.

I called ATT to report it, and they were good.  Said that they don't turn away 3rd party charges because the vast majority are ones that customers have initiated, which makes sense to me - I don't want them deciding what I can and can't do with my phone, you know?  The lesson - I'm watching my bill like a hawk from now on...

This number has shown up twice on my AT&T bill.  I authorized no "enhanced services".  This site has been very helpful in letting me know what is going on.  I'm not calling these idiots.  I'm calling AT&T's billing department.  It's their bill; they need to take responsibility for it.

DITTO!  AT&T bill showed an additional $12.95 charge.  AT&T says "we don't have anything to do with this but per FCC rules, we have to allow 3rd party billing because we're the phone carrier in your City." Say WHAT?  AT&T agreed to credit the charges and put them under "Claim Dispute" but I HAVE to contact ENHANCED SERVICES to cancel the charges!  WTF?  Called "ENHANCED SERVICES" and "Rocky Communications" agreed to credit the charges.  They claim they've got an email from me saying "yes" to the charges.  I'm changing my email address AND cancelling AT&T...life's tough as it is...I don't need more frustrations from a group of SCAM artists and a worthless phone carrier.

Bill showed up with a charge of $14.95 I never authorized,  Called this number they say they will remove it.....we will see, they say some guy named Michael Norris filed an online application and must have been "one digit off" and it got billed to my number.. yea right.  The reps name was Tahnee, yea right.
