i get several phone calls from these people a week and even though i do have diabetes,and when they want to send me a free meter, they ask if have medicare.when i say no they say sorry and hang up, but today i said what's the catch,i don't have medicare and they said that's ok. they they repeated my name ,address, and phone number,then asked was i young like in my 30's(which i'm not) i said yes anyway and he asked me my date of birth, that's when i said none of ur business and hung up. then decided to find out if it was a scam,guess it is.

Keeping getting calls . Dial number got auto answer machine. I treated to notify FTC,. Hope this will help.

Got a call from this bunch of kooks today. Said my blood testing meter was out of date and that Medicare would pay for a new one. Wanted all kinds of info, but when they got to the medicare number
told them to stick it in their ear, wasn't giving it to them. Then I hung up on them. I have gotten calls from them before, same number, (*69) them, no one was there for the other calls.

Been recently getting calls from this number. I have the Do Not Call List, and am going to check in on that if can report any numbers that keep calling in spite of the fact.  The person doesn't say anything, and this 888 number is on my Caller ID.   Although one day recently I had a call from someone claiming to be from a Diabetic.   No one here is Diabetic.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number on April 12, 2011.  My husband had received a phone call from a salesman on our home phone and when my husband was told the call was about my diabetic supplies he gave the salesman my cell phone number.  The man identified himself as being from a diabetic supply company and that my blood testing meter was out of warrantly and I needed to replace it.  He said that Medicare would replace the meter at no charge.  The salesman told me my address, my birthdate and also told me that I only tested my blood sugar once a day.  Then he asked for my Medicare number.  I had to walk into another room to get that number and I told him the first three numbers and then I realized that I was giving him my Social Security number.  I told him I will not give you the number.  I told him to tell me the number and he said he had the number but the HIPAA law would not allow him to give that information to me.  I called the number back twice and all I heard was music and no one spoke.

Where did he get all my information.?  This is very upsetting to me.

This number called twice today and didn't leave a message.

Just got a call from this number...  Didn't answer and they left no message.

Got a call from this number today. I answered it, but it is dead silent, there was nobody speaking. No idea what this is about.

These people want to do a survey.  I told them to remove me from their list.  They keep calling me back and hanging up.

This number calls frequently.  There is never anyone there.  I get so aggravated because I have to answer some of these calls because my prescription supplier calls and they are unidentified.  Only a number.  People who have legitimate business should allow their name to show.  One time when I answered the prescription place they told me that they had been calling every day but never got an answer.  It did delay my prescription and I told them that they should let people know who is calling.

Got three calls from them today, but each time I answered, the line was dead.

I just received a call from this number - He claimed it was Diabetic Care USA and inquired if my husband was diabetic; I told him no and where did they get this information; he hung up. I called back and insisted he tell me where they got the info; he kept saying we'll take him off the list - I said again - I want to know where you got your so-called diabetic list - he told me he'd have his supervisor call me

We continue to get calls from this number and each times no message is left and it is usually as hang-up.  We are tired of this and would appreciate any help to have this stopped.

3 times I have requested to be taken off their list, it just never stops!

I get calles several times a week from this nomber.   No message, no voice.   Stop these calls.

I had been getting 2-3 calls every day from this number.
I filed a complaint on line to the Federal Trade Commission and in 2 days, the calls stopped.
It worked for me.....

I did report this to the do not call registry.  I don't know if it will do any good but if we all were doing it, maybe.

I've gotten 7 calls today from this number. I don't answer calls from 800 numbers but this is getting especially annoying.

7 calls today.  I don't answer 888 numbers.  They don't get the hint.  I've been getting these calls for over six months.

I rec'd a call from 888-302-1243 more than once. It has something to do with beingh diabetic, but this is confidential information and I believe they have no right to call about ones medical history. I believe this is "phone harassment" and I wish tto report it. TOP.

this number has called me several times a day for the last few days...when i answer, there is no one there.  i would like to stop this number from calling me.

On the caller ID-I don't answer calls from toll free numbers. Someone or something at this number has called 2 to 4 times a day for the past four days, beginning at 9:20 AM. My phone number is on the national do not call registry.  Is there any way to stop these jerks without answering their phone calls?

They call and never say anything!  I want it to stop!

Received 2 calls from these people today.  They have called numerous times before.  They ask if anyone in the family has diabetes.  I tell them that such information is medically privileged and none of their business and also that we are on the do-not-call list.   The guy then asked for my e-mail address so that he could verify that we are on the do-not-call list!!  Boy, that's brash!!

I called the number back since I had it on my "who-called" list.  The guy answered and claimed that "we're not a scam, just looking to give away free diabetes meters!"   I reiterated to him that I am on the "do not phone list" and that they are to cease calling me at once.

Called 10-6-2010 @ 17:24, left no message on working recorder.  You're not worth my time, either.
