called at 5:01pm, no one there, hung up

BTW, I called them at 1-888-305-1296.  

Next I hit 2 for "add yourself to do not call list"
And typed in my phone number.

Then supposedly I'm removed and they hung up on me.

The system is entirely automated, hopefully it works.

I called them today, and there's an option to add yourself to their do not call list.  Took me less than 2 minutes to remove myself.  Hopefully it'll work.

Recieved a call from this 888-305-1296 number @ 3pm today. It was silent at first but after about 30 seconds or so, a recording came on, it was an automated telemarketing promotion for a free home security system from Apex Security. I called Apex Security directly and they said it was not apex Security but Apex-Direct, a non-affiliated company which also goes by the name Community Safety according to thier message. I have tried numerous  toll-free reversal searches with no luck, as well have tried searches for these business names, niether are regristered anywhere in Canada or the USA.
they do have a do not disturb option on thier toll-free system , but I doubt it will do any good.

I received a call from this number at 11:30AM but there was no reply
nothing, but they did not hang up either.  From reading the other posts
I will call and ask them to remove my number from their list, Thanks.

I really happy to hear that this has been happening to other people too. They have called me pretty much once everyday this week. So I got fed up with it today, and I *69 the call, got the number.

I called them, and I tolled them to remove me from their call list. I really hope I don't hear from them again.

So just call them back, and remove yourself from their call list, I hope this helps!

This number called me at 4:00pm. I did not answer because I new that it was someone trying to sell me something. I was very surprised when the phone stop ringing that there was a message left on the answering machine. Needless to say it was a security company trying to sell a home security system and if we did there was a chance that we could win a prize. To answer the question of how do you get them to stop calling. If you ask to be taking off the calling list they should do that if not tell them you are reporting them for harrassment. That worked for me.

i get calls from this # all the time how do you put a stop to this?

i get thisnumber at least once a day andnobody is there? any help or advise

just called me, no one is on the other line.. I get at least one of these a day at my business from different numbers and I keep posting them up here!!
