I got  many calls from this number about a credit card I had in 2007. It seems like a scam to me. I set up a payment plan with them in early January. They never to the money. Now they are calling me again to do another payment plan. Something is not right.

Check the statute of limitation in your state. The case will thrown out if it expires. Do not pay a dime.

I got a call 2 or 3 months ago from these people talking about suing me for a debt i don't know about. I asked them to send me a letter regarding the matter for me to respond in 30 days. The man i talked to said he cannot. That i have to make a payment arrangement. I said no. His last word was see you in court. 3 months later, a lady from the same office called me again talking about the same BS  suing me. I didn't even answer the phone and she left a msg. As far i am conerned, and i check my credit report every month, i haven't seen any suspicious credit line on my report. And i have been doing that for over a year.Next time they call me again i will sue their butts for harassement.

I got a call saying if I don't pay a past due amount that I can go tocourt. On my credit report this is account has been closed.  Is This a scam? I don't want togo to court but I dont want to pay for something that is not there
