These people will NOT stop calling me!! I keep telling them the party they are looking for does not live here & they will not accept that answer. There is no one here that has ANY credit cards, debts, etc, and they just will not listen. They are becoming a hassle, and I'm getting very tired of them calling every morning @ 8:30am and waking my child up! You can't even understand what they're saying when they talk. If you're going to call & harrass people, at least speak half decent English!!!

They called me once, and I did not answer it. When I called back I got music and then a recording "Please wait". At that point I hung up.

They called me and when I hung up, they called me back, cussed me out for hanging up on them and called me a not so nice name. I'm not very happy and plan to complain, but also, am concerned that this freak has my personal information.

yeah, they call non-stop through the day.  really harassing.

i get calls from this numb daily.they start as early as 8am n go non stop until late @ nite.i used to answer them n when i told them the person they are trying to locate is no longer around n i have no idea where they are now,they still kept calling asking me to pass down the message.after several wks of explaining myself over and over i got tiered and now,on a daily basis have to ignore several calls,including on sundays!!!i have even called my phone company to ask how much it would cost to change my numb but havent got around to it!

you can stop the calls by requesting that they ONLY contact you by form of written communication from now on. They legally HAVE to stop calling you... and only send you letters.

They never identify themselves when they call. The message starts with a voice saying your (or whoever they're calling for) name and instructing you to press a button. Not the best way to keep someone on the line.

If Scott is correct, then I know WHY they're calling. I have a CareCredit card and I unfortunately had to skip last month's payment. However, I don't feel that gives them license to start calling me at 6AM over a $53 missed payment. I've been in the habit of leaving my cell phone on in case family needed to reach me for some reason. Until I can pay my bill, I'll just start turning it off at night.

This people keep calling 3 times a day and keep telling them that they are calling the wrong party, but will not sibside...do not know what to do anymore!

Several calls every hour every hour...didn't know who it was, until I googled them! Very sneaky.

GEMB has been a pain in the a** since 7/08.  Took my 2002 Focus in to merchant I purchased it from for repair since it kept dying on the road....was supposed to be ready in 2 days.  Didn't get it until 9 days later....totally untouched.  Drove it to the edge of the lot of the dealer/service ctr and it died.  In 15 mins and 2.1 miles, after starting it up again, it died 3x in traffic...stopped at 7-11 to call and bi***...they said "uh oh....bring it back tomorrow."  Did so...mechanic confessed he hadn't done anything since he couldn't figure out what the problem was. SOOO.. GEMB is still bulleying me for $762 in payment...for NOTHING DONE!!!  Between Jan 09 and end of May 09, I was receiving an average of 15 calls a day, most of them automated, demanding payment...beginning at 5:30 a.m. and going on until 11p.m.  I'm not paying for nothing...here, no repair made. No workee, no payee....  It pisses me off and seems inexcusably unethical that GEMB, specifically the dispute department, has no address other than the P.O. Box and no phone number that customers like us can use to try and discuss the issues at hand with someone who knows what the hell its all about.  I would say that this kind of 'hiding' by GEMB along with their means of harassment and threatening customers is just about a perfect fit with the definition of "extortion".  I am interested if anyone would be interested in working together on a class action law suit.  I'm taking it to my local DA tomorrow a.m. but that would affect only the 'merchant' with whom this whole charade started.  Some pretty decent damage could be done in a private class action law suit and through the US attorney's office, since this is a nationwide company.  I see they were in receipt of some 'bail out' money.  What do you think, America?

No, they don't speak English well.  Your GF must work for another department or another bank completely. But these people call me about 6 times a day!  I hate picking up the phone b/c I can NEVER understand them. Its so confusing... I have to ask them to repeat everything they say!

these people call everyday and it starts at 7am and continues until 10pm 7days a  week..  they also call my cell phone and work phone but never leave any messages.  1 mnonth of non stop nonsense if enough.

Thanks for posting this, I keeping getting this number, GE Money Bank is a piece of @#$%!!  My dentist also referred me to them, I should have said NO!!

They have called me from 5 different numbers so far. The last being a number with the area code of my cell phone.  
I made the mistake of answering and ended up paying what they told me I owed in late payments. The next day they called again saying that I needed to pay another $20 and the day after that another $20.
This is what happens when jobs leave our country and go oversees. I have not answered my phone since.

It's been more of a nightmare than I ever dreamed.  I was up to date, then we had a couple of family things that happened.  For one, my FIL died, and we had to travel over 2 days to get there.  It was money we actually didn't have, but oh well.  Then, the shocker was that the funeral was going to cost us over 600.  When we got back, I called all of our other creditors and every one worked with us to help us out........except GEMoney.  The lady I talked to said I would have to pay 600 now and then I might..might..get a month put back.  I said  I didn't have the money because we had to pay for a funeral, she said tough luck.  It has been non stop calling everyday and I mean everyday.  Today is Sunday, and we got 6 calls starting at 8 am and they don't stop till after 9.  So far, I have blocked 5 numbers and I got 3 new ones today.  The number came up with no ID, but you just know after awhile who it is.  One day, I counted 9 times that they called and on one, I hit the end button to go to voicemail, they hung up and called right back with a different number.  Here are all the numbers that I have:  651-286-5023; 937-534-2092; 949-892-4902; 651-286-5004; 937-534-2160; 949-892-4903; 513-459-3626.  The 534-2160 is blocked on my phone, but somehow got through!!  Figure that one out!  I'm thinking of changing our phone number, but......will they find that out too!!

This is the eleventh number they have called me from. It may be different departments, but it seems odd that they would only use the same number for about a week or so before switching numbers. I rarely, if ever, see an old number they've used after they switch to a new number. 8am to 9pm, weekends and holidays, included. Usually no message, usually non-English speaking callers.

no one is trying to be slick. there are different deparmets and depending on the department, the telecom can differ. so the caller id can be the exact phone, blocked, or show a generic #. but this is not intentional..

believe me, very few are that smart.

the number is not telemarketer. it is a loan service center. the # is in orange county california and the workers are from california.

they finance RV, boats, Trailers, 5th Wheels, power sports. if they are calling, it is possibly because you applied for  a loan or have  a loan with them.

I do not work there but my girlfriend does.

p.s. they all speak english.

This is GE Money! that are the worst. I just mad a payment of $30 for 2 mons last month and was told it would cover 2 months. Now i get several calls a day that say i am past dew with my bill. dont see how because i was a full month early with it. these people are the worst and i wam getting rid of this card ASAP as should you. my card is Care Credit and my dentist said that it was a good one and so on. Yah Right!

Let's give them a taste of their own medicine. Everybody call them back and just don't say anything. Do it multiple times each day and call their different phone numbers. I have a list of 10 of them. They call from 9am until midnight. Is that legal? Anyway, they are too stupid to listen to instructions when they call into an automated telephone system and do not even leave a message. Now they have started calling cell phones of an ex-wife. These are real scumbags

Our cat needed a $1,300 operation so my fiance found Care Credit. I got a couple calls this morning (I never answer calls I don't recognize), and just googled the number and found this. We aren't behind (I think we just made a payment that was a few days late because we thought we had auto-pay), so hopefully we won't get too many calls. Now I'm nervous, though.

I'm glad I found this info; we're definitely going to pay this off as soon as possible and distance ourselves from this company. I will report back if they start harassing us, or if I confirm any new numbers. I've set all the numbers to no ring on my phone, so that will help.

The b*stards start calling at 8am on the dot & call til past 9pm. They were also using this company called Encore to do their dirty work & they are the worst yet! They are literally calling my cell every 5-8min some hours. How is that not harassment? Esp. A live human being is not on the other end of the phone. I lost my job, am damn near suicidal trying to survive, didn't get to go home for Christmas & get to deal with these b*****ds! Beware! They def call from the following numbers: 2063153010, which is WA state, 5092913129, which is OR, 8019430000?, 4807074006 which is AZ so I guess they try to hit all the states around you thinking you may think it's friends or family calling from there? (I live in CA). They also use spoof numbers (friend told me about spoofcard.com) & call from like 333-333-3333 or all 5's or all 0's or a combination of mostly the same numbers! It's pathetic. Like I think 222-555-7777 & crap so beware of calls like this also & spread the word! I was talked into this to help pay for my dog's exorbitant vet bill & was told no interest for a year-what a lie! Turns out "my vet" didn't qualify for that plan so on a 6k bill I am paying 29% interest! I'll be paying this damn bill til I die but my dog is worth it! Beware!!!
