The company is Tracfone.  They are a pay as you go company.  I don't know anyone who has gotten a call from them where someone in the house didn't have one or had one at some time.   They are a reputable company.

I don't have a tracphone nor a safelink phone.  I'm not sure why they are calling me.

I wish the do-not-call list made a difference.

I don't have Tracfone but I DO have Ooma VoIP service.
According to some things I read, the two are affiliated somehow. I didn't subscribe to any of this offer crap, and don't want any. Why on earth should I have to call a number to unsubscribe if I never wanted it in the first place!  If this continues I may just have to get rid of Ooma all together and just use our Cell phones.

This is correct. I just phoned back and removed my land line number. Yes I do use TracFone but never buy any special offers.

If it's Tracfone, and I'm not questioning that, but if it's them, then why don't they call our Tracfone cell phone numbers instead of our land line numbers?  This is nuts!

Update - now they want me to buy text alert.  Think Texas Oncology may be providing our phone numbers to telemarketers.  Would like to know if it is company wide, or just the Ft. Worth, Arlington TX area.  Any info would be helpful.  Thanks!

Some medical business is providing our phone numbers and addresses to tracphone as well as other "disability" related companines including hovaround and the scooted store.  I am neither a senior citizen or disabled, yet I started getting both mail and phone calls trying to solocit my business.  Sure would like to know what medical company is selling my information!

If it's Tracfone (and I'm not doubting that it is) then why are they calling my land line?  Why don't they call one of the three Tracfones that my husband and I have???

TRACFONE number. Purveyor of prepaid cellphone services: TracFone; Net10; Straight Talk; SafeLinkWireless; and MySimpleMobile.  They offer a service for a reminder call to an alternate number that provides you with additional information about uses for your cellphone, etc.  I provide prepaid phones from Tracfone to family members, so  I requested this service. I get this call as a reminder that it's time to purchase new minutes. It's true, if you don't want them to call you call them to have your number removed from this service.  I just wish they list their name on the CallerID.  It would make it easier to decide when to answer and when to block a number.

This is from Tracfone.  I own a Tracfone and probably opted in to receive messages at some point.  You can call the number back (888-317-4436 toll free) and get a recorded message asking if you want to opt out of any future recorded calls.  Just press 1 and you shouldn't receive any further calls from them.

Tracfone uses this line to robocall you and give you uninvited "advice" and "tips". Another number to throw onto the bozo-list.
