JOHN:  There's a disclaimer on the postcard which explains that the offer is not sponsored by the airline and that the logos are not to be construed as endorsements.

SCAM!  Check out this post on another scam reporting site:

Ok, so I got the low down, which is low down dirty...they are a scamming company...here is one news link: http://www.katu.com/news/16184347.html

Actually, yesterday, after reading others posts here I decided to call the company from work, but got no answer. I was going to ask the name of the company since it doesn't give a company name on the postcard.  I just received a call from a lady that said she got a call from this number and it was probably in response to a postcard I received, since I'm the receptionist, I played it off and said, "Ma'am, we have 70 extensions and if you give me the name of the company I can send out an email" She said the name of the company is World Travel, which i googled and could find nothing of except for on the Rip Off Report website.  I also have caller id on my phone at work, so I looked at the call and the number that showed up is 888-831-3296 which I again googled (gotta love google) and got the news story I linked above telling the facts of the company, which are scary at best...BEWARE, it is definitely a scam!!! I hope this helps and please pass this along to warn other unsuspecting people of this scam.

Thanks!!

Received card and googled the number. As they say, "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is."

Thanks, Sluth Trish. We received a card in Chattanooga this week. On the phone, they identified themselves as World Vacations. Rip Off Reports said this is the same as Suncoast Vacations and is no good. Their website indicates $5000 starter fee and $500 annual fee to get good vacation deals. I am cancelling our reservation to the presentation.

So they sent us a postcard as well and hubby set up appt to see what it's about.  Trying (like Cindy) to talk him out of it...anyone gone before? I tried to call the number from work to ask the name of the company, but was unable to get through to anyone...just a lot of music (elevator music to be exact).

I also got the postcard and it looks official but the fine print says the logos used on the postcard (Delta & United) are only to "show examples of airline used." It has nothing to do with Delta and United airline.
