Haha this guy is crazy! He flips out on you and then wishes you good luck. After the first time I hung up on him I have just been letting the machine pick up , he is hilarious to listen to; and so obviously a scam. He just kept telling me I was in deep trouble and demanding my name, but then telling me my name was Itzabet Habet, or something along those lines. These scammers are getting pretty desperate!

I got the same phone call but he told me I owe $500.00 from cash advance he also knew my ss# and bank name I let my husband listen to it and he said total scam.

I got a call from this number and he said I owe 300.00 for a pay day loan. He said I was going to get suied and lose my house and I had to send the money to him through Walmart or western union. He knew my bank account number and social number. What do I do

I have gotten over 50 calls today from them because I think I hurt their feelings he started his talk that you can't understand and I told him he was a scam and I would report him he told me he would have the courts arrest him so I asked if he wanted me to arrest myself since I work in the Court system. Then he got mad and wanted to attorneys name and number so I said would you like the Judge or the District attorney, Then he told me he would find me tonight and kill me lol My district attorney is aware and we would love to find them stationed in USA some where but we figure their not.  When you get them mad they use some great words lol ...  I sugest report them to your local law enforcement so you can get the word out in your community so people wont fall for their scam ...

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself. That includes letting them know you are aware they are running a scam and are reporting them to the authorities. 800Notes is not a clearinghouse to stop unwanted calls.

A couple of days ago this particular number kept calling me. When I finally answered, it was a guy with really heavy accent; I could barely understand him (he had an Indian accent). Anyways, he was telling me that I took out a 300 dollar loan and that I never paid back so they want their money. The problem was I never I took out a loan so I was trying to figure out what he was taking about. He started to make threats saying that they will get an arrest order for me and that I will lose my job and also they would sue me for 25 grand. So I hung up the phone but he continues to call me.  Later on that night I went to work and my coworker tells me that a Shawn miller called for me. The number they call me from is 1-888-326-3482. I was soo frighten at first but now, I know that this is a scam. So if you are experiencing similar situation, you can just report the incident.

I keep getting calls from the same number. He is telling me he is from thecriminal bureau investigations from lakeland police Dept. I went to the police dept and asked to speak with him.behold he doesn't work there. It is nothing but a scam went to two different police agencies and they both told me the same thing. So watch for this number and oh the name he gave me was Robert Davis.

Received a call many times from this number.  This person stated his name was Sean Miller.  Sorry, I don't think so.  He kept stating he is from the legal department and that I am to pay the debt from a cash advance.  He only states he is US Cash Advance, which is the parent Company to all the cash advance places online.  I do not think so.  Harrassed me many times calling back when I would hang up.  I wont  give in to the harassement.  I have called my Id theft place to report this and contacted my bank and the place I do have a real cash advance.  BLOCK THIS NUMBER.

You could try telling them that Homeland Security is investigating them for funding terrorists and they are being recorded.

This number calls my work constantly! It's interfering with my job! I have called the local Sheriff's office, and they said there really isn't anything I can do. This is really causing issues at work! Can someone help me?

This number keeps calling and leaving nasty messages.. He says his name is David Jones, but he sounds just like Anthony that was calling a few months back...

Received a call and message from a this number.  It is a scam!  As soon as you threaten to report this number to the US Attorney's office they become verbally aggressive.  However, they will not give you any information only that it relates to a legal matter.

I KEEP GETTING THIS CALL AT WORK ON MY PHONE HE WILL CALL 9-10 TIMES BACK TO BACK IF NO ANSWER WILL CONTINUE TO CALL MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE MY NAME. HE KEEPS SAYING HE IS WITH A LEGAL DEPT. I LET HIM KNOW I HAVE ALREADY ISSUED HIS INFORMATION TO THE POLICE DEPT AND IF HE CALLS AGAIN TO MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT I WILL MAKE THINGS WORSE FOR HIM I CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND THE NAME OF THE COMPANY HE SAYS IT SO FAST WHEN ASKING WHO HE SAYS THIS IS IN REGARDS TO A LEGAL MATTER AND WILL NOT REPEAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY

This person continues to call our place of business, identifying himself as part of the "legal" team for Department of Investigation.  Once he is asked to state his name and company he becomes irritated.

I just received a call...original number was +886 22043404 which is out of India.  Electronic voice stated he was Jerry Kent from the Legal Department.  Have no idea what this is for but I will not respond to the number he left of 888-326-3482.  If they can't say my name right or who they are such as a business name they don't deserve any further attention.

The next time he calls demand his full name, badge and ID number and the name of the agency he's representing. When his bluster and tirade is over try and calm him down. Ask him if he knows why he has a job. Explain to him/her that the routine he's running was dreamed up by an American. The technology he's using to do it was developed by Americans. That Americans own and control him and his call center. That the lions share of the money he's making is going right back to America and that everytime he thinks that he just got one over on a foolish American there's an American back here laughing like hell and vigorously f****ng cheap, low-life Indian scammers in the a**.
