They called me on Saturday of January 17, 2009 stating that I had been approved for a grant for $5,000 I asked was it a scam they stated no I talked to a guy named Sebastian and gave that number but they first called from a Mississippi number of area code 601, I thought it was legit but i'm freezing my account.

Hi my name is kathryn and I got a call lasdt week from someone stating their company name was americas government grats and they wiped my accout clean. I was wondering if I could get any information such as business adress or anything I coould use to file charges as well

I received a call from Grant International Card services informing me of a $5000.00 shopping spree card and a dining card worth $1000.00 and a bonus of two pieces of jewelry from Paul's Jewelry. That was back in December of 2009. They got my payment of $249.00 and it is now March of 2010 and still I have not received any such package. I have been able to speak with them on the telephone by frequent calls to get through. They keep on assuring me that It has been shipped but refuse to provide a tracking number which does not make sense. I have just checked their website and it appears to be gone. I did contact the State Police in my state and also the authorities in Florida and they said there is such a business there at that address and charges have been filed.

they called me from 2127773456 and said that i was picked to recieve a 5000 dollar debit card and a 1000 dollar shopping card that i woulnt have to pay back jcst give them my banking information. they said the cost was 249.00 and they was not gonna draft it off my card that is was gonna come out the shopping card and the total of the shopping card was going to be 750.00 so i gave them a bogus number then they said ok we are going to deduct the 249.00 out your banking account on the 22nd and he went to get his supervisor to verify so i gave him some more bogus numbers. they said their name was International Card Services and the number is 888-326-6029 and they was going to call me back on the 21st to verify again. they also said their adress was 200 graves ave orange city florida. they they hung up. i called the 212-777-3456 number back and it said something about moviephone. i called the 888-326-6029 number and the answering machine keep coming on they never answer back.

this same tryed to get me with,  i must have been declined for a bank loan or a credit card that is why i was being given the 5k.  seeing how i did neither.  i was intrested in getting 5k.    knowing it had to be a scam.  i let him do his spill,  i told him i wouldnt give my cc or bank info to some random guy calling me.  he treated to take my name off the list.  ooooooo.  am i suposed to be sacred of that. what ever so every one be ware of these guys!  i googled the number and didnt find any one who actully got the money.  hmm go figure.

I had an arabic accent guy talk to me too from GCI in florida! He says that I win the 5000 dollar card too! I gave my bank info to him. But he didn't mention the 249.00 dollar debit they were going to take from my account! What the hell is this? And where's my 5000 dollar shopping card.

This is the second time something like this has happened to my family luckily there it this site to look up the phone numbers.  I receieved a call from and Unknown number from a lady with a thick indian accent who said her name was Debra Brown.  She said I had won a $5000 visa mastercard becuase I had recently been denied a loan through another company. I asked her if they could mail me the information and I would decide from there but she was really insistant on getting my account information. She said they were a legit company and she didnt want to do anything illegal.  Then she asked for my bank info again.  If I had really been denied a loan and really won this I would think they would have all that info on hand.  She said to speak with her supervisor who never came to the phone and told me she would call back in 5. never happened.  Everyone be careful.  I know that some people are having a rough time financially and there are people out there who are attempting to take advantage of that.

I received a call from a man with a heavy India accent tell me that I was pick for a $5000.00 shopping spree on their web site and that I would not have to pay any money.  Plus I would get a master card for $500.00 non-secure only I would have to do is give them my bank account number.  I said no I would have to check their web site first. They gave me a number to call 1-888-326-6029.

Yea this a***oles, called me today thru a block number, then he goes to me how are you? you won 5000 dollars spree that you dont have to pay back, he goes all we need is your bank name and account number to charge you, i said i am not interested at all with this, and then he goes go too gicservices.net and then all of a sudden my computer said you are infected with a spyware virus... I repeat to all this is a scam, they are the biggest f****n liars, they are out to get people out of there hard earned money

Please contact Lighthouse and tell them that they are either hosting/helping international people rip-off other Americans... or they are scamming them too by stating they operate from their office (you can see the building from the street on google maps).

For the last two days I noticed a call  from "Insurance" 515-369-5805 on my caller ID. Tonight when they called, answered. A man with  a  foreign accent asked if  I were Sandra. He informed me that I had  been selected to receive a $5000 shopping  card because  I had been  rejected for a store or bank loan 6 months ago. (Didn't happen) I asked him  lots of questions because  I knew it was a  scam. He said his name was JOHN WILLIAMS he  was from GIC - Orange, Florida. He told me I could call them at 1-888-326-6029 Mon-Fri 11:00 am-6:00pm. I asked him did he think I was a fool to actually believe someone would  let me spend $5000  with no catch. He became  frustrated. He asked me how often did I get paid. Then the dummy asked for my  bank name and account number. I told him  that he must really  believe I was a fool to give a stranger and  strange company my account  number over the phone. He then said he wasn't going  to waste any more of my  or his time. He  hung up. Next I decided to call 515-369-5805. An human voice answering machine picked up. The options were  to press 1 to find out more about there products and services, press 2 to remove  name  from calling list. I pressed 1, left my name and  number for them to call me back. Let's see what happens.

I received a call this morning from the same company asking for a man and when I a woman told him that i was him he continued saying I was going to receive 7000 dollars and free 24 hr towing an another 1000 dollars for resturants. I gave him a fake bank acct and SS# as well he stated it was for verification on who i was. when i told him my last name was different they hung up and 15 min later called back. gave me the same web ite and phone number and my confirmation number was my phone number. They said they wanted 290 dollars by may 1st

I received a call from a gentlemen as well with a thick accent.  He said that this company was legit and they were called First International Credit Services.  Same phone number. same website.  They said I could get a credit card with a $7,000 dollar limit and I would have no anual fees and it would improve my credit and I would not have to pay the $7,000 back!  They gave me an address 200 E. Grave Avenue, Orange City, FL 32763.  They said this would improve my credit score etc.  They had all of my information!  It really scared me!  DO NOT buy into this!

I was called about two weeks ago of a Grant International offering me a grant for $5000.00. They said that I had to pay a fee of $290 in order to get the grant. I was called today and there was a lady with Grant International calling me from the number 813-398-5166. I asked her for the website to check this so called service out and she told me www.gicservices.net. If you go to the web site and read the page there are misspelled words. Also i was put on the line with a Steve Anderson to try and confirm this order. Dont go along with this its a scam.

My boyfriend also got a phone call claiming that this Florida Grant International was giving us 5,000 grant all we needed to do was give him our banking information. This gentlemen also had a heavy accent and my boyfriend asked what the catch was. The gentlemen stated that there was no catch and that all he needed was the account information. I wanted a telephone number, or an web address and he could not give me either. He then stated that he would call back later! To me it seemed like a scam so people need to be careful.
