This number 1-888-331-3573 has called me twice a week.  I've instructed my family members do not answer this number when it appears on my Call Display.  I've called the number back but kept on getting a recording says they are called Box Data a partner of Telus.  I don't know if this is true. Sounds like a gimmick.  So the recording wanted us to leave a mess on their machine with the name, number Box Data tried to call.  I don't think this is a good idea so I hunged up.  
Is there anybody out there that has a better way to contact this Company and stop calling
people.

Very annoying. The least they could do is acknowledge their existence on the line.

Get a call every day from this number no one ever on the other end.  Comes to the work phone, very annoying.

This is getting VERY out of hand. Every call that is answered hangs up. And if I let it ring there's never a message left - What kind of stupid telemarketing is this. KNOCK IT OFF!

Telus mobility selling phone plans.  They've been calling several times a day for weeks.  Finally got a live body.  Did manage to get a contact number for anybody that wants to reverse the tables.  1-877-869-3282

Dead air

FINALLY someone was on the other end... Said its from Telus!  Asked to be taken off the list... they still call.

I have been getting these calls from this number about 3-4 times a day for a week. I guess they don't work on weekends becuase they started up again this morning. No one there when I pick up. Now when I see the number, I hit ignore. Only on my cell phone.

I have 6 calls from 888-331-3573 in 5 hours, very annoying!

We get calls from them everyday, probably at least 4 or 5 per day. I just signed up get take us off their phone list on their website, so we will see that that works. I never answer any of their phone calls, and most of the time just pick up and hang up right away so the phone doesn't ring ring ring.

This number called me as well and it seemed weird.  I called Telus to see if they were legitimate and actually contracted out by telus like they claimed.  Telus privacy department had no idea who these people were!  Pretty sure it's a scam and telus said not to give them any information!!!!

you actually did that, inpressed. used to get "junk faxes" back in early 70's I used to tape to or three of their fax pages together in a loop and send them back. it stopped for some reason

I work in a small office and was receiving upwards of 4 to 8 Vox Data calls every day for 2 weeks. I contacted the Vox Data office in Toronto Toll Free 1 877 869-3282 to complain about the dead air being a waste of my time. They immediately removed me from the Telus survey list.

Almost everyday for weeks now this number appears on the call display, rings twice and hangs up. In any environment, this is MOST annoying. There is no one to respond to, to ask to have our number put on the DNCL.

They called again today (and of course didn't leave a message), so I called the number back to see who it was. The company is called Box Data and they conduct sales surveys for Telus. I was right, it's another telemarketer.

This number has been calling our office lines several times every day for weeks; never a message.  I also dialed the number today and the voice messaging system identifies it as "Box Data", "a Telus Partner".  So it's a telemarketing company doing contract work for Telus.

They are driving me crazy too, calling several times a week. sometimes 3-4 times a day

I tell them to stop calling but they keep right at it every day

I am on the DNC list. But I am Canadian and our DNC list  cannot stop  Americans from calling and I can't put myself on the American DNC list.

We've been having the same problem. The number calls 5-8 times a day with no one on the line. I have tried calling the number back and left messages to be put on the DNCL but it keeps happening. Anyone know how to make this stop!?

I even tried pressing 0 when calling the number but it just gets me to a voice recodring.

I have been getting these calls for a couple weeks. They call several times throughout the day & evening.  When I answer I find dead space, no-one on the other end, it's really annoying.  I have returned the 1-888 ####### and a voicemail message said it was "VOX Data".  I left messages for them to remove my number from their call list, but the calls persist.  I have never been able to get a live body on the other end of the phone.

There should be a law against this.  If Telus is behind these calls ( from what I've read here ), they should fined heavily !!!!!

They figure that they have a right to call if you are in any way connected to Telus even if your on the do no call list (read there terms and conditions).

Says it can take 30 days...I'll update if I see them stop calling (calls at eats once a day to my business line for months and no one is ever on the other end).

Calls on business line regularly, but never anyone there.  Glad to know it is TELUS -- our staff have their mobile phones with them.  Perhaps that will give us some leverage?

Same problem as everyone else. When I went to their web-site, they have a place to remove your phone number from the list, but it wouldn't let me. Found their direct e-mail and sent them an e-mail to remove me. I have a fax number that is unlimited faxing (no cost), so I have hooked up a broadcast fax to both of their head offices (one in Montreal, one in Toronto). When they stop calling my business, I will stop sending a blank fax every 10 seconds and jamming up their phone line. Maybe they might learn a lesson.

17 calls in 20 days. I've tried not answering = no message;  I've held the line open = no one there;  I've played fax by pressing a number key still no result; finally I answered = still no one there.  Interesting development... on Vox Datas site there is a button for removal.  It asks for the number that called you.  the number 8883313573 returns a message that it is not their number. It doesn't matter.  Call the CRTC and complain.  They are snotty there and will tell you that you should call Telus, but be persistent.  Our tax dollars have to count for something.  Besides they are mandated to do something

I really hate this number does anyone know who it is from, because this is ridiculous. 3-5 times a day. Report this person.
