i got a call saying that it wa sthe finalization process as of today and that they were taking me to court they were demanding payment but only through credit card wouldnt take no money order or check then i asked what there adress was and it was a po box and they said they were in the state of florida i looked online and the so called qc holding corp that they claimed to be with has no location in florida

I went through this about 1-2 months ago - they will not answer any questions until they tell you that you owe money and if you don't pay the sheriff will be coming to your work to take you directly to court.  I have been working with the secret service regarding these crooks..... they have your SS # but do not give them any money.....If they tell you that you owe money - ask for the company name and contact them directly and they will tell you about these scammers---they are the ones who gave me the secret service number.  

When I told them I went through this with them before and said I was working with the secret service, they hung up.

They call me every 5 min and when I answer the keep saying you are dumb you are dumb I have called dpd and they said they dont care thet will take my kids and I will be raped in prison and laugh I have ignored the calls and then when it goes to vm they call back and ahain and again they have call 17 time is 1 hr today

I recieved this call so many times. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. The person said they are from legal department for Unsecurred Loans. And I need to call for a serious problem that has been brought against me and my social. I tried calling the number back blocking my number and it stated that this call maybe recorded then rand . It answered and no one came on the phone. They have harrast me so much at home or work. They are getting cleaver now with a toll free number. Usually they call and state you need to call an 818 area code. These people suck...............I have put alerts on my credit report and everything. DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING> NO ONE CAN COME TSKE YOU TO JAIL FOR NOT PAYING A BILL. To top it off I don't even have any unsecurred loans

Be Alert! Everyone. I think these a******'s are trying to gain access to facebook accounts. When I tried to logon to my account, facebook sent me a message that access attempts on my account were coming from somewhere in oregon/illinois. i don't live there nor do i know anyone who does. i deactivated my account. i'm putting in a call to the secret service.

This number is a scammer trying to take advantage of the less informed.
They say they are a debt collection agency but they are a fraud and a scam -- they've been attempting to harass a poor guy I work with who got his identity stolen recently by calling our business over 25 times this morning. They're abusive, rude and foul to any employee who answers the phone, they demand money from anyone who will talk to them and claim they have the right to conduct themselves as they are, but obviously they don't.  This guy has no debts out there to be collected, but these bottom feeders are persisting at calling over and over and over again to this *business*.
We're calling the cops to see if they can help, or at least recommend what to do next.

I have received over over 30 calls in one day from these non-English speaking males.  On the last call, the last male who spoke to me, and said that I had defaulted on a college loan from 5 months ago.  They demanded that I wire them $1,500.00 to stop collections or having the police arrest me today.

When I began to question who they are or represent, they became hostile and hung up on me, only to call me back and yell and curse at me.  I've called my cell phone provider to block the in coming call and ATT reported that they do not provide that service.  Im on the West Coast.

I was called at work as well to day they had my ss # and then call the other number of a family member tied to my cell phone accoun t how are they getting this information??? Please there should be something we can do.

Yup, they are right now calling me here at work and my cell phone. It started last week Friday. I made sure that I reported them to the Office of the District Attorney and to the Police Department and made sure that I got a case number to show that I reported them and made sure they have a file that I did report it. They want money and that I will probably pay them a loot of money. They have been giving me harrassing calls none stop. I took down their phone number and did a research on peoplesmart.com. They have threated me that the sheriff's will be here to arrest me. They are not even good at speaking english. Either they are from India, Pakistan or some other country in the middle east. The lady at the District Attorney's Office and Police Departament assured me 100% guaranteed that this is a SCAM and FRAUD. They harass and scare and threaten people. Even the legal person at the District Attorney's office called the numbers and said it was scam. Legal lady and the police told me not to answer the calls or if I do tell the scamers that it has been reported to all government agaencies and the Police Department. Writing this now my cell phone rings and it's the scammers again.. I pity the old folks that are victims of these people. Lets all fight back and not let  " SCAM BAGS " win. Report the to the IC3. This is a government site that is investigating this types of Fraud and scams.

Yes I have received countless calls from this number with the same reason for calling.  It is a scam. but they try to scare people. First of all if you do own money, there will not be a warrant issued for your arrest, it is a CIVIL matter. I found the best defense is a good offense - I tell them to spell their name and I will give all the info to my attorney who will call them. Usually they don't call back. I did talk to a loan company that had turned me over to a collection agency after losing my job and they told me that sometimes these people somehow 'hack' into the system and that's how they get your ss number. If a collection agency should call you, first of all they will tell you who they represent and they will do everything possible to work out a payment plan - THEY WILL NOT THREATEN YOU WITH COURT. So any call you get in the future, if it's like this call, just ignore it, or better yet, call them back and threaten them with harrassment, it'll usually shut them up.

I had a call from the SAME guy at a different number regarding the same thing. Annoying litte idiots!!

I just called the police on them and their advice was to change your number because these scammers have apparently been doing this for years and not much can be done because India's authorities are not cooperating.

I like your actions.  I will keep watch on what happens.  I am calling them back everytime I think about it.  I have also bought a whistle for the next time they call.

I personally received one call but my office staff received no fewer than 10 calls within a limited period of time, say 30 minutes.  It is the same scam that were using different phone numbers over the past year. they speak in a heavy east indian or other similar accent using very "white" names and will not state clearly what agency they are calling from.  They have used law firm LLC, they also in the past indicated they were calling from the united nations legal dept. and I was either going to be arrested or sued.  It is starting to really tick me off.

This number is calling me saying that they are the police and that they have 3 allegations towards me and saying if i don't call back then good luck to me HAHAHAHA

Yes I am getting a call from these same people.  An Indian man all the time who changes his name from call to call.  I did do a search for a payday loan and I am sure this is how they got my name and number and social security information.  I will pass this information along to Personnel here.  I will send to Better Business Bureau too, but I bet these bums are hard to catch.  Thanks to everyone for your experience with this.

I haven't heard from these people for awhile and then all of a sudden I get 3 calls within 2 hours, I haven't talked with them I will not call them back, this has been going on for 2 years now.  Don't know how to get it to stop,  I finally e-mailed the Attorney Generals office and gave them all the information.   They stopped for awhile and now started again.
