We received a call on our answering machine.  It was for our grown son telling him that their fraud department was trying to contact him about a check written on a closed acoount.  It gave a case # and said he had one chance to correct the mistake.  The final sentence was something to the effect that he had been warned and should contact them immediately.

I did an online search and came up with Rogers Security Fraud Department, but I can't find any real concrete evidence of their existance.

Anyone else heard of them?
