Any clue where this is from?

ADT's Chinese agent

Yeah I have just received a call from this number too claiming to be ADT. However, my suspicions arose when the call kept getting dropped; no legitimate company of that status would drop calls like that. Not only that, but when I tried calling the company from both my cell phone and my home phone, I got a message stating that "all lines were currently" busy, even though just a few minutes before after calling just on my home phone, they picked up right away. I have also called the REAL ADT (1-800-ADT-ASAP) and they had absolutely no idea where that number came from. Uhhhh scam?

yes, the guy named Jody Chen claimed with ADT called me to sign up for a home security system sales appointment. he asked for my ss # but i refused to give out. it was very suspicious

This guy speaking Chinese called me twice, claimed he is with FBI!? and my home alarm system has problem and has been reported to them.  There is no alarm issue in my home.  The second time he called the same day I asked speaking to his manager. The manager says they are just selling wireless security system.... and was surprised what his employee is doing.

My father received a call from a telemarketer saying they were selling Chinese cable tv for $16.99 a month.  The call back number they provided was (888) 361-1960.  When I called to get details, they all spoke Mandarian Chinese and said they were with ADT.  Rather confusing since they told my father they were with a cable company.  The rep kept asking me for my father's address.  Sounds fishy to me.
