Lady with accent asked for Mr. Coons.
I told she had the wrong number and make a note of it.

They left a text message in my cell phone and I called them back and this Lady was asking for my cell phone number.

annoying....call don't leave a message call back can't understand a word they say.

this number has called twice, answered the 3rd time.  All I could understand was that it was Mr. Jones and that was it.

called and said they were a collection agency for checksmart payday loan company and they had received some info from my credit report and the company and wanted to know how I wanted to handle the balance, I told the lady that I had paid that off quite a while ago and did not utilize these companies any longer and then she proceeded to give me a number to fax the proof to them.

I received a call from this number - let it roll to voice mail. When I checked the voice mail, it was a recording. They are using text-to-speech, and a VERY bad one at that. I could hear the account number, but the name they tried to pronounce was horribly done.

What gets me is that it's not even me they are trying to contact. Time to tell these people where to go!

They keep calling and I've never answered. Thanks to these similiar complaints I never will. They have left several messages and have actually text messaged me to "PLEASE CALLL". The messages they left were exactly how others have described; slurred and think with accents.

Same as from everyone else. I finally talked to them today. She said that the reason no one ever answers when I pick up; or, that there is no message, is because it is probably (? they don't know?) a machine. They say I have an account with Sprint, from 2005. I apparently made one payment on it. HAH! I have not been able to get anything in my name for many years. Sounds like a scam to me!  And, yes, it is the Jamacian girl.

I never answer phone calls from numbers I do not know but this number called me a few times so I finally picked up. There was a rude lady on the other end who told me I owed about 300 dollars to At&T from a pending account that began in 2002. I informed her politely that I have never had an AT&T account in my name and she rudely said that AT&T joined with Verizon and I must have been unaware of that. She began getting nasty the more non compliant I became so I asked if I could please speak with her supervisor, she then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back taking advice from this thread asking for an adress which she would not give me until I gave her my info. I contacted the authorities but just wanted others to know this is a ploy and do not fall prey to these thieves.

I receive call from this number and a woman with a heavy foreign (Mexican?) accent keeps insisting to speak to Shaun Fox or some name that sounds like that; I speak and translate in Spanish but her accent is thick and slurring.  She insists to speak to this Mr. Fox.

They are some Jamaican collection outfit using a US business address. I don't trust them. I've never done any business with the company and don't intend to. When this woman spoke, I could barely make out what she was saying because of her heavy accent.

this place keeps leaving a recorded message that it is Mr. ? with a name (can't understand) leaving a message for and then this recorded number is said.  No return phone number, my name not mentioned.  Have no clue who this is!!!!   Annoying!

Called 3 times in 2 days - lady sat there and argued with me when I told her to stop calling because she had the wrong number. She insisted that I had never received a call from that number before. Have no idea who they are.

Called last Friday when I was out of my  office. No message was left.
