I too, received two calls from and "UNKNOWN CALLER" from a Jimmy Porter he left the phone number 888-375-0750 for an old tenant that lived in the house we rent. He only called it "the firm" and said there was a complaint filed against her and she needed to call within 48 hours to discuss the pending action or they would be forced to make a decision without her consent. He even left a case number! I called back to tell them they were mistaken. GUESS WHAT, it gave me a busy signal! So I decided to check it online and stumbled across everyone saying its a scam.

Oh by the way, the so-called process server of coarse called from a restricted number

I got a call today Friday May 10, 2013 at 1:00pm by some guy claiming to be a process server.  He then proceeded to tell me there was a case being filed against me by a law office for a debt I owed.  He said he needed my address to bring an officer to serve the papers.  He then said he went to my old address and had no luck.  I told him I do not live there and have got no papers.  He then said I can call the law office and gave me this number:  1-888-375-0750 and case number # 00-28516  So I called the number to find out what was going on.  Some lady picked up.  I gave her my case number and she said she would transfer me.  Some guy picks up and says I owe money for an old Visa debt and I am being sued by his law office.  I think the amount was $600.  Then he says that I need to pay, and if I don't they will sue me and garnish my wages.  Right there I knew this was bogus and called him on his bluff and said go ahead and sue me.  You won't get a penny, just like everyone else I owe money to.  One thing I am sure of is that a civil lien doesn't garnish wages except for child support payments.  If you owe money for bad debt, you would pay them back only when you sell property, before you can buy property, or if you win the lottery or any kind of settlement.  The government can garnish wages i believe for back taxes and/or student loans I believe.  Other then that, they can't do it.  I am so glad I found this blog and I am glad I was right about my instincts.

They've called my phone everyday for the past month with private #. I dont answer #'s i dont know. Thats why i have voicemail.lols so on day 29 they finally leave a message with the same info as everyone elses. My guts name is Chris Johnson. Now the guy s post above mine says "oh thus is a great company. They helped me pay off a credit card debt".  AND THE DECISION IS IN...the guy BILL S is FULL OF S*** AND SO IS THIS "COMPANY ". 1 in 15 people says "oh these guys are legitimate". Guaranteed BILL S is a "company" man. But these people hung up real fast when i told them our phone call was being recorded and traced by the FBI(which it wasnt I was b***s***tin him)lols for credit card fraud and Identity threft.

This cant be a total scam because they help me and my wife get out of this debt. We called the credit card company that they said this was from and it was ours it also was on my credit report. the debt was for around 1,300 dollars and global pacific reduced it to around 600 which was alot less then we even spent! happy camper

JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM A "PROCESSOR" WOULD BE COMING TO MY HOME TO SERVE ME PAPERWORK TOMORROW.HE LEFT A NAME OF MARK ADAMS. CALLED THE GLOBAL PACIFIC NUMBER AND THEY KNEW MY PERSONAL INFO SO I FORWARDED THEM TO MY LAWYER THEY HUNG UP.

called had last four of social said same as others a judgement on me.

my sister got a call from Nichole. They ended up calling an extended family member trying to track down my sister. They gave us a case number & said if she didn't call back within the next few hours she would be in huge trouble. Her husband called the number, & they asked for my sister's credit card information! Scam.

I have recieve 2 calls from this number withing the last 6 months.  Most recently today they called the main office of my employer.  Same thing each time with threats that I would be served.  If you are going to be served it will be by law enforcement and believe me, they will not call you ahead of time to warn you.  This is totally a scam and any time you hear the words "you will be served" hang up.

I too received a call today from a blocked number(left voicemail), that was actually meant for an ex.  Same name of Nicole Wright.  Says "if call is not returned the courts will make 'the pending decision' without your input"

received this call today, same as everyone else, they have an action pending against me, need to call them within 48 hours to resolve, reference a case # 00-23507-GP, make no reference to their company name, person calling was a nicole wright. Called my work # first and then called my cell.  Ignored!!

I received a call from this number last night saying that I will be taken to court if not called back within 48 hours and I would have to pay $750 plus court costs. I went to the police dept and they said it was a SCAM. If someone wants to take you to court they would have to file papers and that alone would take longer than 48 hours. We haven't received anything in mail either saying we owe. Don't fall for this and DO NOT give out any info!
