It's American Management Liberty Equity Solut.

I signed up for the interest management program on August 2009. On my chase accounts i was paying 29.99% because chase sent me a change in terms letter so that they can increase the rate on it. I let my Financial Adviser know and she called all my creditors and got payments programs for me on three of my accounts.
29.99% went to 6% fixed for 60 months and payments were lowered as well.
I was ready to file for Bankruptcy and now I won't have to  
THEY REALLY WORKED FOR BE AND I AM VERY THANKFUL.

Unfortunately I fell for all the same things that everyone has stated, but my 1st contact was in early April 2009 and they debited my checking account right away even before I received the paper work from Liberty Equity Solutions. Then I received the paper work for me to complete in May and was told I had 30 days in which to send it back completed. I sent it priority mail even though our checking account was billed again for $29.95 but not just like the charge in April of $29.95 but a duplicate billing on May 5th of $29.95 twice with 2 separate reference numbers both on the same day May 5th but the 1st ref number ending in 3511 and the 2nd ref. number ending in 3513. To make along storry short I had to really fight to get that duplicate charge reversed but it did happen. Since then they have charged our checking account each and every month around the 3rd for $29.95 and not so much as a word from them and guess what we were served a summons for Breach of Contract from one of these credit card companies that they were going to help us with and they were just getting ready to garnish my husbands wages so my husband had to get a 3rd job nights and week-ends just to come up with a lousy $650.00 to keep us out of court. I'm sure you are wondering why I have no income, well this year I was told I'm sick and dying and I am too sick to work and my husband spreads himself so thin now just to pay for my doctor visits and all my medication that there isn't even an extra penny to pay any of these credit cards off but no thanks to Liberty Equity Solutions I'm the one that worked with 2 of the other credit card companies that we owe money to just to lower our interest rates and payments. It's not a lot but every bit helped. So I ended up calling Equity Solutions and requested a refund and canceled with them since no one was helping us and they promised to credit our account $119.00 by Tuesday. So we shall wait and see what happens. Sure would be nice if it happens. My financial advisors name was Julie and she said she wasn't the one handling our file and she apoligized for all that happened to us but she said that the $119.00 was approved to be credited to our checking account and it should be in our account by Tuesday October 27,2009. This telephone conversation took place today Friday October 23, 2009. Thanks everone for reading and I will let you know what happens.

it took me about two weeks to get the package, I sent it back on 9/4 and haven't heard oe seen rate adjustments yet though. I am going to wait 90 days though before I place a stop on the auto deduct since other postings say about two billing cycles. I just left a message on their recording for a call back and it wasn't full.

I was contacted by a person who said they were with American Grant Company 1st number was 5153695831 but we were disconnected and she called back from 4165557777.  She said i was to receive a grant and needed bank acount to deposit it into.  I was stupid and hesistant but finally gave them the information they took $249.90 from my account.  I am trying to get the money back as an unauthorized bank draft.  I looked up the name of the company that was on the bank draft, American Management Systems , and contacted a local office and they said they were no longer using that name and gave me a number for the home company.  They advised me to contact the Federal Trade Commission.  I am waiting for a return call.

I was told to contact the Federal Trade Commission.  I have left a message but have not gotten a call back.  I am trying to get my money back through the bank by filing an unauthorized bank draft.

I also fell for this call and i have tried several times to call these people to no avail.... It tells me that all reps are on the phone with other customers and cuts me off. If they are legit i wish they would let us know. I haven't even recieved a packet yet and it has been 2 weeks...

This is a frigen scam!!!!!!!!!I keep calling to find out why the new rate has not been adjusted after 3 months.

Man then they have the DAMN nerve to post on here posing as people that actually  had success with their company. I can?t believe these people. How can you feel good about yourself when you are scamming people like that? I know you are reading this and I hope justice finds you. And the post you put up sound so fake!!! I?m so freaking pissed about this!!! You?re messing with people lively hood. You probably scammed one of your family members!!!

Well I too was just scammed by this same place Liberty Equity Solutions services...  It really did seem like a real place of business real professional .. But where it fell apart at and where I should have known better was when they asked for my banking info and I gave it like a knuckle head !! But as soon as I hung up started to investigate it cause something just felt wrong...yes googled it and there is nothing but bad news about this place so I called my bank now what a process I have to go through just to avoid this mess . But it will be worth it just so they don't do to me what they have already done to others ..... beware be smart never give ur credit card info or bank info . If they are mailing you something tell them that is when they will get all that when you read all the fine print and have time to investigate their place of business a s well ! Nab them or they will nab you !! I was a FOOL !! But caught on fast ...... sad by this scam too good to be true !

received call today august26.2009,totally a scam,tried to call back Crystal for futher information about check fee and exactly how long my checking account would be charged.no one answered,and there message board was always full.I HAD TO CANCEL MY CHECKING ACCOUNT,HOW STUPID COULD I BE...............................

I received a call from Liberty Equity Solutions this past Friday, I agree the call seemed too good to be true, I did give them my information however figuring I can place a stop payment on this transaction within the next 60 days if my credit card rates are not dropped once I receive the  paperwork. I hope my experience is a good one like others listed. will keep you posted.

same company called me and mentioned this pie in the sky scheme. They said that my recent punctual credit card payments made me eligible for a lower rate. I naively connected this opportunity with the new presidential effort to legislate & limit credit cards abusive practices. As i was talking to the wolf in sheep  clothes, i googled their name and landed right here: by that time i had given some bank information already, to presumably pay for the $29 that the initial appllication would cost me - thankfully i had the immediate presence of mind to claim that the initial info was a mistake that shoud be replaced with the new one i gave them, which of course was a fictitious.They then transferred me to a unit destined to verify by bank info. I hung up at that time and notified my bank. i guess at this point, it would still be prudent for me to cancel the account. They callded me back a few times and realized through my sudden lack of enthusiasm that i uncovered them. That is the end of that. I am revolted as i am wrting someone will fall victim to this scam

I ALSO RECEIVED A CALL FROM LIBERTY EQUITY SOLUTIONS..  SAID THEY WANTED TO LOWER MY INTEREST RATE ON MY CC.  SAID THEY WANTED TO DO THIS FOR ME BECAUSE I PAID MY BILLS ON TIME, AND I HAD A 4 STAR RATING?   SAID HE WAS GOING TO LOWER MY RATES TO 4.9, HE ASKED FOR MY FULL CREDIT CARD NUMBER, AND THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF MY CARD. SAID ALL IT WAS GOING TO COST ME WAS $29.95.   LIKE AN IDIOT I FELL FOR IT TOO.   I CALLED THE BBB, AND THEY TOLD ME THE COMPANY WAS NOT REAL, AND THAT THEY HAD AN "F" RATING WITH THW BBB.   I HAD TO CHANGE MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER & CC NUMBER.   I TRIED TO CALL LIBERTY EQUITY SOLUTIONS AT THE PHONE NUMBER THEY GAVE ME (888-379-0612), AND SUPRISE- NO ANSWER, AND THEIR MAIL BOX WAS FULL!  WHAT A SCAM!

I recevied the same call from liberty equity solution.i was also foolish
they tooked 29.95 from my checking account.No one answer the call at the
1-888-379-0612 that was given to me.i hope they are found.

The same people called my mother, who is 78 years old.She has been confused lately because of medication.I just happen to manage all her accounts and discover what was going on.She tried to fix it herself and was hung up on.I called on her behalf and spoke with Evelyn and she was helpful.She said she would issue a refund.We had to close our bank account as my mother gave them her information.I think it absolutely appauling to prey on the elderly.When I told them I found all these complaints they got really helpful.Good luck to everyone else,I hope you get justice.

I also spoke with a Page Thomas with a wrok id number: 545800 on June 12,2009. He also stated that this was a one time thing and if i didnt take the offer that they would report it to the cc companies and i would never receive the offer again. I felt strange when he said that they did record the conversation or so they claim they did. Then i got transfered to a lady who finised the transaction. I had to remind them to give me their contact information cause they were ready to just hang up the phone on me after they got what they wanted. When I call I get an answer from Rachel who then goes to get Bryan who is suppose to be a manager of some sort. He tried to restain from giving a refund and told me I should give it a try. I feel really fishy about it.

I am so peeved right now that I fell for this scam and then proceeded to read this list of complaints that described the call to a T. I received this call through my work extension which made it seemed legit. Said they were from Card Services and that if I had over $1000 of dept on a Mastercard or Visa they could lock in my interest rate at 8.9% or lower before all rates were about to get increased in July 2009.  He asked for my credit card number and red flags went up, so I asked him some questions like 'how do I know that you are calling from a legit company', and he gave me his name, badge # and phone #:

I don't know why this made me feel more comfortable but I proceeded to give him my cc#, phone #, last 4 digit of my social. Then he was going to verify some info from my statement, I got put on hold and suddenly transferred to a guy saying he was from MC and totally clueless about who I was or why I had called him.  I then called the # they gave me, and they said it was Liberty Equity Solutions and that 'Page' was busy right now but they can assure me my information would be shredded.  

I am now calling to cancel my cc and kicking myself!

They asked for payment of 29.95. It does not look like a legitimate company.

It's not strange that the name you were given was Pages Thompson, but the name I was given was Page Thomas.

I received a call this morning stating they were Liberty Equity Solutions. They said that when my credit card company called, it is automatically transferred to them because of the number of deliquent payments you have with the credit card company and the interest rate I had, it made me eligible.  At first I was excited and then a red flag went up, but after I had given them some of my information.  Then when I started asking questions they started to get hesitant.  I asked them to send me some information in the mail so that I can verify if they're legimate.  They didn't want to do that, they just wanted me to give them my "voided" check.  When I would do it, they wanted to hang up.  I asked them to give me a number to verify, and when I called, they said that my last name and zip code was not in they data system.  So,,,,how did they call me. DUH.  They also called me on a number that my creditor does not have.  Unfortunately, I had given them my credit card number, zip code, phone number, and the last 4 digits of my SSN#.  They also asked me to give them a card that had an expiration date that was much later than the one I gave them, and they wanted a credit card that had at least $1,000 available on it.  That really made me stop in my tracks.  When I wouldn't give no further information, they told me I was waisting their time, when they could be helping someone else that was interested, and they would inform my creditor that I declined the service.  I told them, to go right ahead, and that I would be contacting my creditor also. The person I talked to was Page Thomas (Male).

I had the same conversation with them on behalf of my cousin.  When I was unable to give them the bank account # to draft I was told that there were no files to which they could attach a comment regarding me calling back with the Bank info and that the only thing I could do was to hope they called me back again later.  They may be legitimate but I know that they generate a computer file with the info you gave them in it and it should not be hard to locate that file and complete the transaction if they wanted to.   It makes me very suspisios.

Don't fall for it "Libert Equity Solutions" - I talked with them for a while this morning - fishing around for information - They wanted my card #s!!  I said well, if you want to change my rates on my cards...then you should have my information - They transferred me to a "supervisor" and I asked how do I know this is a legitimate company?  He hung up....hmmm, makes you wonder!  :)

I too got a call today from the same company and when they said they could not send me the application in the mail until I paid for the $29.95
bells went off in my head DO NOT DO THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! I asked them why
they could not send it first for me to go over it first they said they sent me one already and this was a last chance time offer. The minute they asked for my bank routing# I hung up on them.  DO not let them fool
you into this scam and cancel your cards right away by calling your credit card company. My credit card company told me that they have had alot of customers with the same problem.  Dont under any circumstances belive in this scam.

BE AWARE..Definately a scam. I was contacted today and they presented themselves as an agency representing Visa and Mastercard to aide in negioations to lower cc interest rates. After much probing and questions, the "hard sell" was to sign me up NOW. I asked for some time to contact my cc company and to verify their company and services. THEY HUNG UP.
I called my cc company. First off, they said the obvisous," Why would we be working with an outside agency to help lower interest rates" DUH....She had made a threatning comment like " We will be calling -- company to notify them you declined the offer"
Like they say, If it is too good to be true..it is. In the mean time, on my own, I lowered my interest rate!!
