Please understand that telemarketers can still call your number even if you are on the Do Not Call list. There are laws against this and fines if they do so. However the Federal Trade Commission is so overwhelmed with thousands of complaints a day and no resources to handle all immediately that scammers take the risk.

888-382-1222 is the number to call to REMOVE your number from the registry.  Telemarketers and liars here want you to do that.  From the FCC website: "You can delete your phone number only by calling toll-free 1-888-382-1222 from the telephone number you want to delete." http://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases ... t-call-registry

Do not call list... been receiving calls from telemarkers on my cell phone.  I t continues after 30 days I will file a report.  Have been receiving call about 10 times a day from 302-257-5910, and 702-359-5618.

I want to report these phone numbers.1458-201-1341-1514-4601826-12184372-mobile one 000-ooo273. I want you for your help.

block it by some of the smart phone app by your self

I got a hot chat phone service when I dialed to add my number to the do not call registry today, I'll be checking my bill for additional charges................

simple since i dont know who to believe... i have a solution to the problem... when a sale call comes to ur # ....  1 dont answer and let ur voice mail pick it up.... remember if its important someone would leave a message.... 2.. answer and talk like a black women LOL   and say who this is.. who u calling ahh nahh no one here by that name....  could u please stop calling for this man this is a new # hang up...... or 3... answer and hang up.... or put it on silent and ignor...   my 2cents.

I get calls from this number and the number changes each call. I get 4-5 calls daily and only a beep and when researched the number is non-existent. This is harassment and despite being on the no-call list  I get them daily.

Bottom line- whether cell phone or landline the telemarketer/spam/phishing people are going to find a way around the DNCR. In my state the government is actually offering $50.000 to anyone who can find an actual solution that these fraudsters cannot work around- list you number if you want but IMO you are just putting it out there for even more exposure to the crooks. And ya gotta love the "unknown name" unknown number" guys- to they REALLY think someone will answer those calls?!

L have listed my phone on a do not call list about a month ago,  I continue to have atleast 6 times a day starting from 5 am to 10;30 pm, the following number;800 942 3767.  At first I would answer and press 2 to let them know i'm not interested, but they continue to harasse me.

This phone number has called and called, it's computer generated.  It is becoming a harassment call and  we consider as such I want it stopped immediately.  I registered for no calls in Aug. and again the other day.  Please have it stopped.  

I recieved call from 302 257 5910 and it was spoofed off this 888# all it does is robo call me 10-15 times a day and hang up hearing dial tone

If you are concerned about receiving telemarketing calls on you cell phone I suggest you check the FCC website at http://www.fcc.gov/guides/truth-about-wireles ... o-not-call-list.  

I believe they probably have the most accurate information.

The 1-888-382-1222 is the legit phone number you use to register your phone number with the National Do Not Call Registry.  It has to be done on the phone you are calling from (true statement from the FTC).

It is easier to register online at www.donotcall.gov and you can register up to 5 phone #s.  You have to provide an email address they send a link you have to click within 72 hours to complete the process.

You've been hearing about it for quite a while because it takes a while to get the word out to everyone to prepare us for what's happening. The cell phone numbers "will be listed" in their own phone directory also, it's no longer illegal. The time has come and that directory will probably show up before we know it.

Registering it in the Internet just takes longer for it to pull through, and by using your cell it's right there. You can do it either way. Good Luck!
