Calling MD office insisting on speaking to MD right away. "Global Physician Project" referred to you by Dr Hursey -- never heard of either.

I keep getting calls from this number, there`s a scam going on  international calls, from what heard its a scam

Please stop calling my office.  Please take my name off of your calling list.

called 4 times in 10 minutes asking for all different doctors.  told him repeatedly to stop calling.  will file complaint if he calls back again.

I received this call today. The person had a strong accent (like from India or similar) but he knew my specialty, my name and my e mail address. He was talking about research in my medical field. It is little bit scary after I read all the comments from you guys.

It is not a scam, they really paid the surveys that are done, but since recently they have many members and problems with the issuing of the vauchers. However, the guys that are calling you are simply call-center workers - pressured by their employers to get your email addresses and DOB, so they could reach the target. They are not stealing your identity, and cannot do much with just an email address and DOB. LeapPhysician only need the processed data from the surveys, so they can do research on the medical treatments and programs and their efficiency.

A gentleman with a thick Indian accent identifying himself as "Roger Smith" called the doctor's office where I work, and was quite insistent on speaking to my boss.  

Sorry, "Roger".  I'm the gatekeeper and you haven't passed the test.  I'm polite to call center employees, but then I get to come here and snark about you.

This man called from this "Lead Physician Office" and asked for my doctor to return the call. He called twice and was very abrupt both times. Please get these people to stop making these false calls and bothering very busy medical practices who need lines open for patients not this nonsense.

. My secretary answered but he wanted to talk to me.  It was according to my secretary a man with a thick accent. He left this number to call him back. I researched it on Google and I suspect it might have been an attempt to lure me into a "deal" He asked my secretary if I am a psychiatrist and that he needs an opinion

Phoned our home,indian accent, not cool.

Also received a message from this number. Glad I looked it up before replying.

Glad I googled this before I gave the message to my doctor. When asked to leave a message, the gentleman (with an Indian accent) wanted to give my doctor a "very important invitation to a global conference on Radiologies Medicines" Huh? I don't think so. "Paul" didn't seem pleased when I told him the doc was in a procedure.If you are calling from the UK, why do you have US phone number? Whew, dodged that bullet.

they have called SEVEN times in 30 min! finally after i said, "ok this is a nurse" they tried saying that this was for a Nation Projuect. they are callingthemselves Leap Medical. .. Just hang up, its overseas bogus crap!

The first call came, probably, about a week or two ago.  I couldn't understand what he was saying but I gave him my work email address and assured him that I would forward his email to my boss and if he's interested, he will respond or ask me to respond.  I did not receive an email.  Someone called back today and was very insistent on speaking to my boss.  I went back and forth over the name of his company with him.  Now that I see your posts, I realize that he must have meant Lead Physician, but he kept pronouncing it like the metal, lead.  He claimed to have sent the email and that I should check my junk mail, which I did; not there.  He seemed very miffed that I absolutely would not put an unsolicited call through to my boss.  He said they wanted to invite him to join their international something or other and that he would get an honorarium of a dollar amount between two dollar amounts I couldn't understand.  I told him that I would keep an eye out for the email.  He wants me to tell the boss to call Jeffrey at 646-558-2608.  Right-o.

Just got a call from these people...said they were calling from London, England.  Wanted me to pull my dr. away from his patients....ha ha

I received a call from this phone number just now, but rather than answer the phone, I googled the number to see who was calling.  I decided not to answer when I saw all the comments.  Whoever the caller was apparently didn't take the hint that I wasn't going to pick-up.  The phone rang and rang to the point I finally just unplugged it to shut it up.

I received a message from "John Jordan" at my dental office, with an "invitation call".  Glad that I looked at this before I gave this group time I can never get back!  Thanks, but no thanks!

Just recieved a call from this number....saying they were from the "National Project". They guy had a very thick Indian accent, but claimed that his name was Michael Smith. Don't think so! Always be suspicious of "cold calls" like this...don't give them any info.

I got call from a Michael Smith.  Demands to speak with the Doctors. Can't pronounce there names, and I can't understand this bloody idiot. Get a new Hobby loser.

I just had "Michael Smith" call from his number - I could hardly understand much after that - call display says NEW YORK with no company name.  He asked for my doctor and I said no she's on call.  Well if the bugger didn't page her in the ER !!!!  Thank goodness she heard me deflect the call in the first place.  I called the number back - same voice however this time his name was "Andrew" and I demended his supervisor and BLASTED HIM !!  I'm sure it's not really his supervisor but paging a doctor in the ER for this CRAP is disguisting practice.

I got a call from this number not 15 minutes ago, the guy on the line sounded foreign, and said his Name was Sam. he didn't give a last name and i could barely understand anything the guy was saying.

Just received a call from "Dean Watson" [sic] demanding to speak with the radiologist.  Mr. Watson's accent was so hard to understand I had to ask him to spell his name.  Spent 15 minutes of my day on this crap.

I am a dentist from south africa and i got a call from this number at 6pm. I didn't answer,and googled the number!why on earth would aomeone call me from NY USA?must be a scam!

Someone with a very thick accent claiming to be from Lead Physician London England,insisted on talking to our doctor,when told that the doctor was making his rounds in the hospital,he asked what time can he call back,he was told he can call anytime but take his chance to catch the busy doctor.When asked about the nature of his call,he said he was conducting a survey that will pay the doctor between $20 to $200.00 .We asked him for his phone number but he said that they only have one telephone for outgoing calls and that it is always busy.They are not allowed to give their cellphone #.Anyway to make the long story short he ended up call our office 5 times with no luck....He would not take NO for an answer....Beware.....might be another scammer...

I received the call from sharon, she really has good voice and convincing power, can she call back again, i want her call back number, i like her voice,,,,

I Received a call from a guy named sam johnson. He said,  he is calling  from LEAD MEDICAL frm london UK. he has very nice sound on call,done a really good job for me I'm in love in his voice and want his number...

Stop calling us when we ask you to stop.  In America, there are laws in place to protect us against your scam.  Here's some information on the United State's laws for you to reference:

This company has called 5-8 times per day everyday for 2 months.  Every time they ask to speak with the pharmacist.  I tell them the same thing every time- We are a medical marijuana dispensary and we do not have a pharmacist.  They always get pushy and very annoyed!  I reported them to the FCC and FTC for their unwillingness to respect our request for them to take our number off their list.

It seems to me that if this "leading international online medical panel based in London" were legitimate, they would be consulting the UK's government since their healthcare is run by the government. Not sure why they have a New York phone number if they are based out of London.
