I got a call on my cell like 10x now the number only says 888 38 WTF what kind of number is that???

I received the same fax - informing me that I was the heir to $ 5.1 million.
I responded by saying "thanks - just deduct your fee and send me the balance"
- they responded saying that some administrative fees had to be advanced by me first.
I sent another fax to them and told them the matter had been turned over to the FBI.

I got a fax from this number saying  i could get 15% of $25.5 million dollars if i would relpy to fax number 760-418-8214.  Allegedly from the department of minerals and energy of Johannesburg, south africa.  It shows to have come from Offshore legal firm 888-389-3592.  I didn't respond.

Received a fax today saying we could get 15% of $25,500,000.00 if we replied to fax. Passed it around the office for a chuckle and then pitched in trash. Said to respond to 760-418-8214 and came from Offshore Legal Firm 888-389-3592. Signed Jose Thami from the Department of Minerals and Energy in South Africa

The letter said "Dear Counsel" so we sent them our IOLA information and Tax ID # . . .
NOT!

Today I received quote from  Offshore Firm the fax # is 888-389-3592. They want HP5500 OEM toner cartridges, It was about $2500.00 worth cartridges, but I realized that they did not have actual shipping address only PO box so I called the place (888)432-3336 ext 2. A guy named tony answered but the connection was bad I could not hear well. Every time he said something bipping noise background. I also checked their website but it is not real website, they just hold domain name only. offshorefirm.org. I had some experiences before, those pleople who wants HP5500 OEM toner cartridges, usually most of them are not real buyer.

Receieved 2 faxes 5-11-10 saying I inherited 5,100,000.00. Signed George Albert Esq. with reply fax 866-746-9609. The faxes show it came from Offshore Legal Firm 888-38-3592.

we just received the same fax to help them out with  $25,500,00.00 to be deposit into our account. Yeah RIGHT! I feel like opening up an account an fooling them to see what they really do with the account lol. I heard that they supposely transfer that money into your account but then they take everything you got. People are stupid to fall for this.

We just received the same fax from Mr. Jose Thami.  Is there someone we should report it to?

Our office received a similar Urgent Business Proposal by fax for 8883893592 from Jose Thami of the Department of Minerals and Energy (South Africa), addressed to Dear Sir/Madam.  
The date of the fax was 05/26/10.
The amount of proposed transfer in now US$25,500,000of which we are supposed to keep 15%.
Nice work if you can get it.  Too good to be true.  It is full of illegality and flagrant gratuitous flattery.
This is a classic example of a scam.
We have totally ignored it, except to report it to this 800 Notes site.
It is a shame that they could profit at all, even if they dupe only one poor soul by such a scam.

Jose Thami is also impressed with me and my virtue !  He's with the Department of Minerals and Energy in South Africa and they need to share $25 million with me  !!!  How cool is that - better than the lottery.  Do these guys think we're idiots ?

The Envirofax thing is a scam too. By forwarding your junk faxes to them, you're just confirming that you have a working number -- meaning you can probably expect an increase in unsolicited faxes. Sorry about the bad news...

Got the Fax from Barrister Louis too: apparently a $7,502,000 estate needs to be distributed to me because "[I] share the same family name."  No mention of what that name might be, however...

Received fax 5/12/10 from the same person as Not Scammed except reply fax # is 760-418-8214.  I faxed it to Envirofax (888-220-2706) who is supposed to contact them and get our # permanently removed from their fax list.  We'll see.

Same spam crap but they want me to quote on HP printer cartridges.  Low life scum.
