Got a voicemail for someone I've never heard of.  The person leaving the message gave his name as Ed Johnson, said he needed to verify address for service of process and that he was calling on behalf of The ADR Firm.  Caller ID did not show a number, but he gave 888-390-4130 as the call-back number.  What an idiot!  The outgoing message gives my name, so he should have known he had reached a wrong number and should not have left a message.  (Of course, I didn't return the call, since it had nothing to do with me.)

THIS IS A SCAM....... DONT SEND ANY MONEY... THEY TRY TO SCARE YOU INTO SENDING THEM MONEY . IM SHUTTING THESE FOOLS DOWN. THEY WILL BE IN JAIL SOON FOR THIS. THEY SHOULDNT MESS WITH POLICE!!!

Called me at work, don't know who they are.  Told me "you have been served" in a voicemail.  Seriously?

THE COMPANY I DID NOT SUPPOSE PAYIED BACK WAS A SUMMIT GROUP. U NEED THE CLAIM NUMBER TO ANY KIND OF INFO.  CLEAR THIS UP BEFORE U GET A SUMMONS FOR THIS I ALSMOST DID. BUT I AM STILL GONNA CHECK INTO IT BEFORE I DO ANYTHING.

FOUND OUT WHAT THIS NUMBER WAS IT'S A 3RD PARTY DEPT COLLECTOR. I WAS CALLED CAUSE OF A DEPT THAT I DID NOT PAY BACK FROM 10/09 FROM A PAY DAY LOAN.

I JUST GOT A CALL AT WORK FROM A CONSTABLE AND SHE WILL BE SERVING ME COURT PAPERS FOR BAM GROUP. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THIS IS ABOUT.

on 05/21/10 i recieved a message from a lady name linda stevens with some b***s*** case number and she provided me with a phone number. when i called the number the phone just ranged called again and the message stated  the BAM Group and the phone disconnects. i will call my local attorney general  and file a complaint and maybe they will come up with who this ficticious company is.

Some chick left a nasty message for someone i've never heard of left the return number and case file.. I called the number told the dude that some chick left a very nasty message and he got cocky with me saying "do you even know who you're calling?" "I don't appreciate your tone of voice, you need to have more respect" uhhh whatever.. told him i've never heard of the guy and they need to remove my number, he asked for the case number and my phone number and told me 2 names that my phone number was linked to.. told him i didn't know either one. He said he'd remove my number.. we'll see

I also received a call from this company. They left a message that was quiet disturbing... Sounded pretty official, when I called I also got the BAM Group, But when I tried to speak to someone it just rang and rang. I finally decided to check on line and see what information I could get... Thankyou peppermint...  I appreciate your comments

Received a call from someone from The BAM Group litigation firm for someone not in my family or living at our address.  When I called to let them know, I requested the name of the individual with whom I spoke to and their address the call was quickly disconnected.  When I called back a second time, I spoke with a gentleman who refused to provide their address.  He stated that my contact number was removed from their records in relation to that case and I would not be called again.  When I asked for his name, number, and address so I could document and send them a written letter he refused.  Seems like a disreputable company if I couldn't document information.  Other posts on this site tie the company to a different 1-800 number with questionable actions.
