They have moved on to new scams these involving threats of imprisonment if you don't pay them $ NOW !

Warrants will be issued for your arrest, you will be held without bail. They will come to your work to have the police take you in to custody if you don't pay NOW.
They will not give you their address.
They say they don't accept direct payment only credit cards online.
What a scam!

Coast to Coast magazine subscription service. charges $60 payments/ 9 payments for the first 9 months for 5 magazines chosen out of 500. They offer a $100 e-gift card.

I also got a recording that left this number & indicated I had won a prize.  the only diffrence was that the original number that called me was 903-221-9846.  If Romney or Obamah really want to be elected president, maybe they should take on the telemarketer/scam artist.  That might swing the vote, LOL!

Got a call from a local number they said I had won a prize from doing on online survey and to call back at 888-390-9538, found this page that said this is a scam so didn't call back. thanks

so they called me from 1-877-243-1042 left a voice recording stating i won a prize for taking a survey.  but i haven't taken any surveys!  then they told me to call back at 1-888-390-9538. so i googled it. glad i did cause its obviously a scam

Received a call from a local Miami exchange number (786) 272-2858 out of Homestead and they left a message on my voicemail to call them back to claim my gift.  I tried reverse lookup on the (786) number through various websites and also through whitepages.com cellular lookup but no results still.  Usually this means its a Debt collector and I have several Debt collectors out to get me.  This could be one of their ways of asking questions if you have a checking account because they want to see if you have money.  Others stated it was from doing an online survey and have done about 2 online surveys recently but I would imagine they would contact by email and if by phone, they would state who they are and what survey they represent.  The number left for me to call was (888) 390-9538.  Tried to find anything on the web and nothing but this website came up.  I reported both numbers to the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" because these calls would be considered Telemarking by nature.  They have to prove I provided and gave them authorization to contact me outside the law the governs the Do Not Call Registry.  Maybe that will stop them but I doubt it.  I didn't bother calling back the (888) because I dont want any record of my caller id showing up or starting a series of unsolicited text messages coming next.

Received a call from 888-390-9538.  Recording on answering machine to call for free gift.  No other info other than stating I took an online survey.  I did not.  Deceiving!  Did not ID themselves.

Gotta call from a 618 # telling me to call back for a prize...they called me last week from a 917 #....has to be a scam i wouldn't recommend calling them back

Got a call from 310.564.0912 thanking me for taking a survey.  I found it odd that I had just submitted a survey I took for school.  I was told to call back to 888.390.9592 to claim my prize.  Scammers!!

Got a call that said "This is Mark, you have won a prize, as a result of a survey you took. Call this number:888-390-9538 to claim your prize."  I didn't complete any survey.  I'm sure it's a scam.Don't call back!!

I too received a recorded message about winning something and to call 888-390-9538.  Of course the number that showed on caller ID was 360-529-9538.  The other night I had received 4 calls one after another of scams  and companies  wanting my business.  I also had a debt company keep calling me asking if I were a person who I have never heard of, if I was not that person just hang up which the first time I did, but they kept calling.  I have spoken to 3 different representatives and told them they have the wrong number and to take me off their list, but they keep calling.  I just hope they get tired and start picking on someone else since they do not understand wrong number.

Got 3 calls back to back with message I had won money towards a trip.  Scammers.

This 888# left. Voicemail to call them back to claim my gift. Funny thing though, the original number that called my phone was 916-237-0742. So it really is not toll free as they said it would be. Or is it? LOL. :-)The 1st # and the 2nd # are both scams. Their #'s are on so many diferent "Who's calling me," web sites its actually funy that they keep on trying..

You do not get a live person just a recording and asks you two questions and then it hangs up on you.  I would say it is a scam.
