I have gotten a call from these people. I have attempted to call them back and got a voicemail. I have no clue as to who they are or how I owe them money. They say that I am being sued for a bad check.I do not write checks, so that can't be true...

Thank you for your valuable information. I got a call from these crazy fools and they first left me a voicemail on my cell phone threatening to take me to court if i didnt pay or make some payment arrangement that they were going to my job to serve me papers. Really on a debt thats only 400 or less. I contacted my states division of banks and they told me to file a complaint because these are scam artist who have nothing else to do but pretend to be a collection company that does not exist or what they do is take another collection companies name and pretend that is them. If you havent done so yet I recommend you to file a complaint against this company with the FTC,your states AG and your state's Division of Banks. These people are not taking one cent out of my account. I have already contacted the original company which i owe the debt and they told me the real collection company that has my file and have made payments because I requested first to have a letter of verification first sent to me.I am a paralegal and the biggest thing in the legal system is that everything has to be in writing.

TOTAL FAKES - the amount of personal information they had on me was disturbing!  They claim I need to pay off a loan to a Vandelier group which is no longer in service and can't be contacted.  They claim it's all in Macomb County District court but when I told them I called court and my name or case number was not on file, they said well we're not dealing with the courts yet.  They started to give me an address that was a P.O. box and I stated that I wanted a physical address.  He kept telling me to hold on and I hung up.  You can sue for this fraud people!  I think I might if they call or contact me again.  Luckily they can't contact me at work like they do with everyone else because I work for myself.  Don't let this company fool you.  I almost gave in when they had so much detailed information about my bank account and how much I owed.  They even sounded very professional until I called them out on it.  Then they started threatening but not keeping track of what they were threatening me.  He got so frustrated he kept contradicting himself.
