They hit my card twice in one day: once for $3.00 and the other for $27.93.
Here's how to handle it: call your card's bank, cancel the card noting fraud. The card number will become void immediately.

When they ask for the card number you're now OK to give it but first try to find out their location and more about their "service" or "company", you'll need that information later to report the fraud to the Internet Crime faction of the FBI at http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Based on the time zone they are calling from, they appear to be located on the east coast of Greenland or west coast of Iceland (I called at 9:15pm eastern and they said their hours were until midnight weekdays). For what it's worth, in their recorded message the woman has a Newfoundland type of accent.

the 'customer service' rep told me they are customer service for party lines, date lines, adult lines, sports lines. The organization is Interactive Audiotech Services based in CA. Very tight lipped and very sketchy.

Visa card was charged multiple under $10 purchases by a company listing this as their phone number. I didn't authorize these charges and had to cancel the account and have a new card issued.

i also had 3 charges from this company totaling over $400. i called them too and they wanted my card # or they couldnt "help" me.. i told him that i think the police can help me

Yes, they are an adult chat line...hit me for $285.56. I have filed a police report and I advise anyone else to do the same. I understand that they are out of California. The person that used my credit/debit card just had to call and enter my cc number and "some billing info" to let them charge my card. I want the person that used my card and the company that allowed them to charge my card!

Multiple charges showed up on my visa from a company that cited this number for their business. Needless to say I had to close the account and bank is reversing charges.

I received 3 charges on my bank account because someone got a hold of my debit card number. They did 2 charges of 39.73 and 1 charge of 94.36. Plus, there is supposedly a GCI phone charge as well but it hasn't posted on my account yet. My bank actually contacted me about all the charges before they showed up on my end, so they will be reversing this. Its just ridiculous that all of us had to go through this from the same source and nothing has been done to stop it!!! I will be fighting!!

Media Warehouse charged 124 dollars on my account yesterday. There is no website for the company and the number is useless, even my bank received no help from them. I've read on other sites that people get telemarketing calls from this number. Whoever got my bank number also charged 180 in phone sex operator calls...somebody likes porn and electronics apparently. Thankfully, the bank is being helpful but this is weird!

I too just received a $54.60 charge on my bank account - said it was on my debit card so my bank has cancelled my card and also I have submitted a fraud claim on this transaction - just rec'd the phone of 888-400-0897 on my bank statement so will try calling them but know I didn't make this charge

I also had my check card identity stolen and someone charged $82.40 to media warehouse. Luckily, my bank is reversing it, but it is quite sketchy.

What is this company...my son is a USMC serving in Japan and he also was charged with his debit card for this company.  When you call they won't give you any information other than they are a 3rd party billing company for a multitude of other companies!!!!  HELP!!!
