Called by 347-308-5216 claiming they were verifying info for serving court papers, they refused to give any info except 888-408-3666 and i was being sued

This company is very dangerous.  They are ripping folks off left and right with "fake" debts claims (of which have been paid previously or have never existed).  I have evidence that they are receiving payments from individuals with their tactics.  

I am infuriated with their actions; several of my family members were harassed by their staff.  This does not sit well with me; using spoofed numbers, along with angry/bully style communication tactics.  

I am in the process of collecting intel on these scam artists; the owners of the company run their operation out of California (where regulation of collections companies is lax); and this is not their first "circus".  The primary business/scam pioneers/suspects in this operation are not American and have the ability to flea back home when the heat picks up.  I may post up details and a few more specifics here, as well as in other public forums to bring awareness.  As far as the call center employees that are making the threatening calls/ I believe they think they are legitimate employees.  Little do they know that their customer list was created using several advanced database tactics... using real person contact info but the debt is completely fraudulent.  Their business "Global" is not registered as a business in the state of California.

These guys are not that complicated nor very intelligent.  It will catch up with them and they will pay.  At this point I have no idea how much money they have stolen from folks.  But the suspects are smart enough to hide behind spoofed numbers as well as unlisted numbers.  They are dumb enough to setup actual physical offices; from what I've gathered so far they have recently opened a new office (after their other operation(s) was closed down a year ago after a lawsuit was filed and won).  If this isn't the exact same party that was sued previously they are connected strongly and even possibly related.  

In fact the previous company went by the name of Global AG LLC.  Possibly being run by an individual(s):  Thai Han and/or possibly Begley,Lunsford.

I honestly hope they find my post.  I would rather they close their operation than I pursue greater legal action.

If you are contacted by this party, or from a 1-888-408-3666 (or noted to call back that number) do not contact them under any circumstance.  They are a fraud and will take your money and run.  DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION; even though their threats are convincing!!!

Please take a few minutes & file a complaint about this company w/the FTC.  They trade as Global AG, LLC.

im nervous now got calls and voicemail i get a call first saying to call the 8884083666 number there is a claim against me etc.. i have filed ftc complaints.. i only answer phone cuse i dont want them calling my employer ..

I asked them to send proof they say they dont have to cause there a pre-litigation firm a bunch of bs and your right be careful

I got a call on Thursday from the same jerk Curtis Watson as well. I'm so pissed off this jerk called myemployer.    Could someone give advice and how did handle?

Curtis Watson called to say they were coming to get one of our employees.  I called them back and stated on no certain terms are they to call this number if it is not for our business purposes or it would be reported to the FBI as a harassing phone call.  I would not verify employment for this employee.  I have them on record as calling 2x.  If they call back again, I will file a harassment claim on behalf of the employee and the company.  Be warned Global.  Back off your thugs or you will be subject to your own harassment!

I was at bank to find out why my account was screwed up. Said it was a payday loan. I told them I never had a loan. They checked and it was a scam...they red flagged it ! I got my money back from my bank. A few weeks later I got a phone call saying I owed $600.00. He said he was a state cop and I would be arrested if I did not pay the money back. I told him it was against the law to impersonate a police officer. I said I was reporting him to state police,he hung up. I hit call back and he would not answer his phone. There are a lot of scams out there. Be very careful who you talk to and NEVER gift account # over phone. Always ask for proof of the bills you owe. If it is a legit bill collector,they will send you proof.

REALLY this is crazy~ whoever called me is crazy..and the guy threating me on my voicemail!  not cool & i kept the voicemails for legal purposes... The calls have to stop. Says i have a claim against me and need to call 8884083666 number. Is this really a faud because he has been calling me since early this morning 10x back to back this is crazy. I am involving a lawyer at this point! im unemployed, i have no money and on top of all that today is my birthday! Some people have no heart at all..i will not call back! If they have my info send me something in the mail.

I got call today and I unfortunately gave them my info prior to checking the number. Now they have my info and I need to know what I need to do. Is there  anyone out there who can assist me to avoid them from harrassing me again. Please (Ramsman)

I got a call from this number that was saying things that was not true and I really do not want them to call me anymore they lie and try to fraud people...

That is the same thing that they done to me and I about fell for it to until I started using Google to find out more information and found out that they are a scam...

I got a call the other day saying that I had borrowed money from a loan company in the amount of 270.00 and I never did and that if I didn't make arrangements to pay it back that they where going to serve me with papers to appear in court... I had closed that account and I got all my papers showing I never got that money and have found that this company is known well for fraud... So yes they are a big scam and I am not going to deal with them or their bulls**t any more and I would advise everybody to be aware that they are one BIG SCAM!!!!!!!

They are working with some guy who claims to be from the dept of investigations 347-308-5216 - Ben Seigel. He calls and leaves a message saying you have one chance to call 888-408-3666 or cops will be coming to get you. I called a law firm that sues collection agencies and they called 888-408-3666 and when she got back on the phone she told me it was a scam.

they called and said i was being served papers. Asked them to send papers  and said that they can handle payment over phone and refused to give them my credit card or banking information and was mad when i wouldn't give them any information over phone ..  told them to send something in mail and said they couldn't do that.    it said  it was a bout a pay day loan in 2008.

received a local call from 801-657-4571, which has been referenced by other people on this site, left me a voicemail at my work and my cell telling me to call this # 888-408-3666.. telling me there is a claim against me and I am going to be served.. I have received calls like this before from people that sounded like they were in or from India.. this lady said her name was April Moore and was very rude in the voicemail. I know that it was probably a scam but i confirmed it by putting in both numbers i was given on this site and seeing all the comments i know it is a scam.. i am not going to call back and i have not called back so we will see what happens. .. i am glad that this site is available and that we can post comments and support each other.

I got a message from a spoofed 847 area code number, telling me to call this number, that there is a judgment against me. It sounds like a scam.
