I keep getting calls from this number day and night from an Indian sounding guy who says he's from "college now". When I asked for his name he said I don't know my name...and I asked for his supervisor and he hung up on me.

This is another of the "college finder" harassment numbers.  these people are oblivious to the no call request.  sometimes 3 or 4 calls a day, many not from a number but a 5 digit code.

have the same problem! they have called me from 6 different numbers in the last 2-3 hours! and have asked each time to be taken off the calling list.. use this website to file a complaint and put  your name on the national do not call list.

well I guess I'm not alone with this! same here with asking if I would like to further my education. well, yes, I would like to but I don't need their help. and from reading other posts it sounds like a scam anyways. I've politely asked at least a couple times for them to take my number off their calling list but I still get calls! including 15 minutes ago when I was peacefully reading my Bible and expecting the only phone call I'll get today is about my new job. anyways I've had it so that's why I googled this number and come across this. hopefully this will stop them or I'll come across something else which'll prevent them from calling my cell phone number. whatever happened to privacy?!

Missed call from this number from my cell phone.  Decided to google the number because I was not familiar with it.

Yes this call is originating from an oriental male.  When I hung up he called back asking, "Why you hang-up?"  I hung up again.  He called two more times which I rejected his calls.  He called one more time and I picked up, and said,"Look I hung up on courteously twice now, and I have rejected your last two calls, do I need to contact your legal department?" Which the jerk replied, "Shu up!..." and I hung up one more time.  Have not heard back from him yet.  The fact that they disable the phone number is suspicious.  I would suspect that they are trying to scam people.  None the less when I let my calm head prevail, I am going to look at sueing the company for harrassment.

This number has been calling me for months now. They mention something about college education. I have asked them to put me on their "do not call" list and one time a man said "that's not possible" and then hung up. I normally ignore it, but the last time i answered, i was so annoyed that i said "if you call me again i will report you to the police." The man started yelling at me and telling me to shut up and told me not to threatened me and asked me who do you think you are? That made me so mad so i contacted my phone company and they just told me to put my number on the nation do not call registry. I still had been getting calls since i blocked my number, but not as many lately. These people are really persistant, and angry i guess!

They call me up to three times a day.  When I ask them to stop calling me they hang up or swear at me.  They identify themselves as college-finder, but the college-finder website has information up saying this is not us it is a marketing company and we are working to resolve the issue.

I've gotten several calls from this number just today!. I've recieved calls from this number tons in December, but didn't answer. I answered the calls today, trying to figure out who they are. They have identifed themselves as College Finder. Every call I've answered the person on the other end has a thick East Indian accent, call center. I've asked to be taken off the call list and to talk to a manager and have been hung up on each time. I tried calling back, but got a measage that the number is disabled. They also have my email, not sure how they got them. STOP CALLING ME!!!!!

This phone number calls me day and night. Most of the time I just hear noises like they are in a call center and like everyone else when I call the number back, it says my phone number is not authorized to make this call. When I did get someone on the line, the guy would not take no for an answer and then tried to get my email address to send me a friend request and kept saying i needed to talk to him, what a weird-o. Everytime they call now, I just pick up and hang up.

I have had them call a few times this week and I answered today just to see who it was, some India sounding guy finally answered but I couldn't understand anything he said because there was so much static and cutting in and out.  I just hung up.

I have been getting a call from this number everyday for the past week. Good thing I have my phone on silent at work. If anyone finds a way to call them and get off their list, please let me know.

I received a call from this number, no one answer on the other end,  I called back & a recording said number disabled.

Just recieved a call from this number... got the 'this number has been disabled' when I called back after I picked up and no one was there... this isnt the first time and is getting very annoying.

Have received repeated calls from them, no message is ever left and when I call back says the number is disabled.  Very irritating, I have received 4 calls already today and it is only 11 am.

Answered and they were just laughing.
