getting calls at work from Alliance One every day.

They have called me a few times but it only ringes one or two times before they hang up. I have never had time to pick up. I don´t owe anyone money so I dont understand what it could be. They don´t leave a message. Could this be one of those fraud numbers that people warn yoou about on facebook?

To let you know BY LAW...if you tell them not to call your home, your work etc they can NO LONG call you anymore!  Tell them to take your numbers OFF and they HAVE TOO!

It is against the law for them to continue to call if you tell them NOT to call your number anymore.  If they continue you call you can sue them

Ohyes this Shawn Crosby I am willing to bet is the very same person that I spoke to at this place.  I was able to get to a supervisor and get it straightened out without getting talked to rudely.  MAN what a B*&^%.  Good luck with anyone who has to deal with her.

got them bugging me now...to bad altell account was in company name with tax id#.  Good luck getting that one.

This number calls my home several times a day before 8 in the morning and also after 5p.m in the evening. They are a collection agency for Alltel.
The person I spoke with was Shawn Marie. She is very RUDE. When I explained to her nicely that I was the spouse of the person she was trying to reach, she began telling me details of the acct. When, I said that we could not afford her payment arrangements she got really hostile and angry sounding and said, " I can not speak with you." Have so and so call me. I told her no, that I was the person who takes care of our bills and that if she couldn't speak with me to stop calling my home as well as harrassing my spouse at work.  I'm sorry, but if you are a collection agency and you are rude to me, either get another job or stop trying to persue me because I'm not working with someone who is hostile and rude that doesn't want to work with me.  So Anyone who gets Shawn Marie as their acct. rep for this company, beware she is a royal bit*h. Just ignore her. We will make payments directly to Alltel instead of them. If Alltel doesn't accept payment, then by law the debt is paid for.

Dear Sir or Madam,



I have had the unfortunate experience in dealing with Alliance One. It is a long story as to how this came about, but suffice to say, there was a divorce, severance of matrimonial property from the divorce judgement, a hostile take over in our once family business that left me out of work for almost a year.



The default in payment was due to me having used my own credit card, (AMEX), to pay for certain business related activities. I was not reimbursed by the company for these purchases and was unable to make any payments without having a proper income.



Alliance One was the second collection agency used to try and collect the monies I owed...$2800.00. I have not been able to give much but would try and give at least $10.00 a month, just to show I was trying.



The agent I have had to deal with there has been very rude to me. He has called me a liar, told me I had an attitude, hung up on me, harassed me at work to no end, where my calls have had to be screened, harassed me at home (calling 2 or 3 times a day), called my daughter-in-law a liar when they would call when I wasn't home, and it goes on.



Today when I received another call, I receive a call daily, I told Mr.Ezard, that he knew what my plans were to pay off the debt. There is to be some money come through in just a few days, from my settlement, and I told him I would then pay the balance. He said that was not good enough. Tomorrow is the end of the month and it needs to paid by then.



I was not allowed to say anything more as he started yelling at me. I hung up at that point, but he called back. I answered and said I wanted to speak to his supervisor. He wouldn't allow me to do that and said the deal we had made was off and I would need to pay the whole amount now. (About $1000.00 was being taken off my account). I have heard this before and he would again call, try being nice and say if I paid the agreed amount then all would be fine.When I again asked to speak to his supervisor, he hung up on me.



Mr Ezard also informed me, when I asked why he was calling every day after I told him when I would be paying, he said it was the law that he could call up to three times in one day. This is harassment and I do not understand how companies are allowed to do this. I have even said I would allow him to speak to my lawyer so he knows for sure I am not trying to avoid him. He refused that and said all lawyers do are stall and he wanted the money right now.



I wish to take this further but am not aware of what steps I may take to report this to higher authorities but in being able to post this I can maybe make others aware of what they may be dealing with if dealing with this company and hope that some sort of law can be enacted to keep these people from harassing those of us who do honestly want to pay off our debts but just need the time. Someone needs to get across to companies like this that you get faster results with honey than you do with vinegar.

This is a collection agency.  They serve all kinds of businesses but mainly deal with Alltel.  They will call three to four times a day at different times until you pay the debt.

This company calls continously. When I pick up the phone and say hello...I do not hear anything.  I have said Hello 3 or 4 times each time and still nothing.  So, I decided to call this number back and find out who it is and ask them to stop calling my home number.  
At first I got a message saying this call would be recorded.  The a female operator came on the line and I asked what company this was and told them I was on the National Do not call list.  She said, oh that wouldn't be us. I asked again who this was and she said, " This is Alliance One." Or could be alliance1. I've never heard of this company before, however, they ring my phone off the hook all day long even on the weekends.  I repeated my number to her and asked her to remove me from her list.  She asked what my address was and I would not give that to her.  Told her to quit calling my number.

We just changed our phone number to avoid this type of calls.
Recording came on and hung up.
