DELIVERY ATTEMPT NOTICE AUTHORIZED GE DEALER
| Barb 2012-04-26 22:33:02 Unknown |
I received a fake delivery attempt notice from "authorized dealer GE Home Technologies" and even though I was suspicious because the "final attempt" box looked preprinted I fell for it and called the 877-625-1118 number. Luckily I just got a recording. Royal Palm Beach area

Scam, stay away. I came home from work and saw what appears to be a delivery attempt from "GE". After calling the number on the ticket, I was greeted by a man(Kirk) who asked me for the route number that was printed on the ticket. After giving it to him, he then requested my address. I asked him why he needed my address when I just gave the route number and further more, any legitimate courier service would have all necessary information just by me providing the control number that's associated with the delivery attempt ticket. Suddenly the phone went dead because he hung up. I immediately called back and was greeted by another person, this time I refused to give the route number when requested, the lady followed suit and hang up. Scam, scam, scam.
