Same here. What is this a scam?

I think its a legit collection agency.  I owe lotsa money and they just tried to call me

Called and left a voicemail saying it is an attempt to collect a debt (I have no debt I am aware of). The recording said her name was Kelly in a British accent and said she was from a company called ER Solutions. I think I am going to call back from another number that is not my cell phone.

ER Solutions calling on behalf of WAMU to collect on overdrawn checking acct.

If you overdraft on a wamu account and take a while to pay it back, they use a company called ers solutions to harass you even when the money has been put back on your account. My cat is smarter than these people.......

i also got a call from this number on a friday, i have nothing in collections, so this freaked me out, reuined my weeekend, i had to run my credit reports just to make sure, nothing wrong there. i looked on line for this , its called shotgun calls, there might be someone with same name or number and  they are just hoping you are who thier looking for. but the post by brian  is right there are lots of ways to fight them if its not you.

I received repeated calls on my cellphone. The first two times i answered it asked if i was someone and then a bunch of fast words in Spanish blurted out something and i hung up. The third time i let me y voicemail pick it up and the automated call asked if i was Patricia Courier and said if i did not hang up it would assume i am. Then it stated that i had an outstanding debt and to call Kelly at 888-424-1032.

I received a call on my cell.  I looked the company up on Hoovers and called them.  They could not find a debt under my name and suddenly hung up.
I wish the wild west came back and we could just rid ourselves of this vermin!  I'm sick of the laws protecting the guilty.  What about the innocent?

Did you know that if a debt collector violates the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692 et. seq. (FDCPA), they could be liable to pay you damages, attorney's fees and court costs.

The FDCPA prohibits the following

1. Telling someone other than you about any debt you owe
2. Calling you at work after you told the debt collector not to contact you at work.
3. Repeated harassing phone calls.
4. Falsly threatening to take you to court and/or falsly threatening to garnish your wages.

Many debt collectors violate the law. If you are having problems with a debt collector, you may want to consult an attorney.

We got a call from this phone number also, It says to listen to the message or to call my bank branch to correct a problem. However, I call the bank and there is no problems with our bank account.
I am getting tired of receiving phone calls from these businesses.

Called and left a message, not sure who they are. Called my cell phone.

Keeps calling me... Automated with Australian accent.... My voicemails just say to call them back but I only get half the phone number...????

I got an automated call from "Kelly at ER Solutions" on 11-28-2007 to collect a debt. All my bills are paid so I don't know what it's about. I may call back from a number that is not my cell phone but it was creepy.

Receieved a call from "Kelly at E-R Solutions" on 11/1/2007 to collect a debt.  I have no debt that I am aware of.  Sounds suspicious to me.

When I 1st got the call, I spoke English, the recording did also, I switched over to Spanish, and so did the recording, then I broke out my best British voice and so did the recording, so as a goof I did my best Chinese/Japanese and they had no comment.............Very Very Funny S^&%

Got a call from this number just a day or two after the "Do Not Call List" deadline.  Don't know who it is.  It's automated and gives you an option to stay on the line or hang up.  Because it sounded suspicious I immediately hung up.

Call to my cell phone, no message left and when called back the number is not a working number.

I get this call all the time at all hours last time was to night and the number they tell me to call isnt in service.

Automated dialer. Called asking for some one that does not live here, and does not offer an option to tell them that.
