I recieved a call from a Jennifer on 5-18-12 saying that she is  has papers to serve me and that i needed to call this number 855-258-9317 which is Amway whoever they are, she told me that they are going to file a case against me in my state but that she could not give me any information. I think its a scam.

these people tract down the phone number to my parent and told them i was going to be arressted. when i called they would not give me the names or phone numbers to who i owed the debt to they said i owed it to them now (what) they told me me they would not call again and that they would see me in court with papers in hand i told them good then i could see who i owed the money to.  I also informed them if they attempted to contact my parents again they would see me in court but it would be me against them. I also ask for their addess and they would not give it to me.

Received phone call at work from Ashley Wilson (funny - last time I think she said Ashley Williams) leaving a different phone number to contact this time of 888-431-7763 (last time it was 888-450-8518 so which is it?).  Claims to have paperwork to serve me for court regarding a bad check and wants to verify my home address and work address in order to be able to carry out the process.  Says I have the right to contact the owner of the debt to find out who it is.  Anyone that I truly owe a debt to already has all the information so not sure why these people keep calling my cell phone and work number fishing for more information that I'm not going to give them.  I fell for that the first time - you need to contact this number within the hour to make payment (or payment arrangements by secure credit card only AND every two weeks).  Now after reading notes on here about Nationwide, which was the previous "supposed" process server company and I have a feeling this is the same thing, they refused to validate the debt (on paper), were very nasty and accused me of committing fraud (I defaulted because I couldn't keep up with payments) and also refused to give me the address of their company which I have a right to ask for (from other notes I've seen I'm assuming they are avoiding being issued a cease and desist letter).  Ashley went on to say that I should consider myself officially notified (via a voice mail - are you kidding) and that this is their last attempt to try to contact me to FIND me, although will continue their attempt to try and file court papers in my county.  Called the number she left and get a recording saying "This is the office of Amway. . .".  Has anyone ever heard of or dealt with these people?
