I am also getting an unbelievable amount of telemarketers scam calls and debit collectors since I signed up for the same package deal with Comcast. I even got one call that says I am going to be served with a warrant for arrest if I don't pay up. I laughed at that one. Amazing the lengths those debt sharks will go to intimidate susceptible people. The previous person who had this same phone number apparently did owe money and now I am getting harassed every single day. When I first got a cell phone I had the same problem for about a year with yet another person who owed debts. At least they told me that person's name and it finally got resolved but I had to block lots of his calls also. The lesson is try to keep your original cell number otherwise you never know who is going to call you on a new one.
I have also blocked as many calls as Comcast allowed (12) but set up selective call forwarding on all the rest of them to one of the other telemarketers phone numbers. So now all those calls go straight to the other phone number. I add any new ones. That seems to be working as I am getting fewer calls now. And also I don't answer any calls from numbers or people I don't know.

As part of a package deal with Comcast I had to get a phone#. It is unlisted and on the Do Not Call list but every day I get phone calls from the above number and others! Comcast will only allow me to block 12 numbers so I'm unable to block that one or any more #s!!!!
