Merchant Referral Solutions is the caller.  It's a work at home scam where you pay a zany fee up front to set up your "business" in which you cold call other businesses to get them set up with credit card machines.  I have read many bad reports on this company which was established in may 2009 and already has a lot of negative feedback floating around, including BBB reports.

Got a call from this number 5 minutes after I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau for this Google Easy Street scam.  Didn't answer and never will!

Did not answer and they did not leave message.

This telemarketing company is harassing me. They call every day, sometimes twice a day. They stopped for Xmas vacation then started up again in the new year.
The first time they called back in Nov I think I answered the phone thinking it was my son's doctor (I now ALWAYS check the call# first before flipping it open).
They say they are responding to my request for a work at home business. I told him to take me off his call list and never call again. To no avail they are still calling me. They never leave a message or give me a name.

I received a call from 888-445-1118 and though I didn't answer the call it rang partially twice if that makes since. I logged on to my computer and typed in the number in the search engine field; low and behold it appears to be a scam. I also received two other calls from the Washington Metro D.C Area whom I didn't recognize either. Be cautious!!!!

I just received a phone call from this number. I hung up on her twice. I registered a year ago for a work from home job. The company stole my $1.97 and never sent me the CD that I paid for. What a rip off.

I just found out that this caller wants to know if you are interested in making extra money by using Visa & Master Card as a merchant.  I believe IT'S A SCAM.... RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This comes from the "Google" Work from Home Scam that has absolutely nothing to do with Google!!

after getting this call 4-5 times a day and not answering it I finally decided to answer....he asked for and then sd that I filled something out online about a home based biz......I let him have it and told him never to call again I was going to report him....I never signed up for anything I already work from home for a great company what do I need a scam for!

This company is relentless, I usually just let it ring but my younger son answered with "Can I take a message..who is this?'  The guy on the other end didn't know what to say and he hung up.  I tried calling this number but no one ever answers then goes to a voicemail that is full

best way to reslove is frist call up you credit card company and dispute the charges. also call up the company and cancle the service. also ask them to send you letter of confromation that the service is cancled. if they dont and still charges you then call up you attorny general office , the bbb and make complaint

But what can we actually *do*? They call in the middle of the night, on Christmas Eve and Day... They have looked up private cell phones of people related to me and have been harnessing them. Can't they be stopped? I have written to the FTC, but haven't heard back (yet).

I recieved call's from this number 3 times(5hr Period), The 1st time no one there, 2nd time no one there and the 3rd Third time a Lady asked if my Wife was home, I asked who was calling, The Lady imediatly hung-up. I was traking the number and found this site to Report these call's. It's time know for them to Recieve My phone call's, and the only thing different here is, I Ain't Going To Hang-Up!  HAPPY NEW YEAR

They are very rude and they hang up before you have a chance to call them back.  They call early in the morning and on weekends.  They need to quit calling the xxxxx!

I just had this call and they asked for my wife.  I asked 'My I ask who's calling?" and they only repeated asking for my wife.  I again asked who was calling.  The lady, for the 3rd time, asked for my wife.  I then said thank you anyway and hung up.

I am on the no-call registry and still get all kinds of calls.  There's no real "no call registry" fear by telemarketers.

I have been recieving these calls as well but don't answer I also signed up for the 1.97 google to work from home had to cancel credit card because they were withdrawing money from my card this is a scam

I've had this number call me as will. They never leave a message and they hang up when I answer. I know of the google scam too, but the problem with that is there is also a real work from home program that google released. There is only a slight difference in the real opportunity and the scam, the scam charges $1.97, but the real one charges $2.95. It's a pain in the A$$!

I also paid the $1.97 and later realized that it was indeed a scam!  I canceled my credit card the next day and haven't had any issues.  I am sorry that you are still going through that scam BS.  :o(

Am sure this call is related to the scam on google after paying $1.97 on my credit card I have since been indated with charges from unknown sources in USA CA, UT, FL etc., total stolen so far $399.00 - a total nightmare am daily filling out paper for fraud dept. of my credit card company!!  Beware of anyone who calls!
