Just left me a message saying my password expired, he wants to get me set up again and he has a 25 Dollar bonus for me. Wanted me to call a different number then what showed up on caller ID. I called the caller ID number back, 5 rings and then disconnected.

I also just received a phone call from a gentleman who offered no introduction and just told me that my password has expired on a sports betting website. This is clearly a scam.

"Mike" called and left me a voicemail saying he needed to update my account information because my password has expired and give me $25 dollars free play. The accent was very heavy and very difficult to understand. It sounded like he was calling from some online betting or casino website and wanted to give me $25 dollars of free play. No thanks...

"Mike", with a very strong Hispanic accent, left a message stating the my password had expired and he wanted to help reset my password. Left a different number, 800-604-5922 which is a sports betting site.

Got the same call as other posters. Peter (Pieter? Sounded like a Dutch accent) saying he was from something unintelligible, downtown. Need to call him update my password info.

Yes, same m.o here. I just received this message saying it is Peter. He addressed me using my first name. I could not understand his accent. I slightly heard something about my password and $25.00. I deleted the message after I read the messages on this page.

"peter" asking you to call another number (misdirect) 1-800-604-5922 to reset your password and collect your $25.00...then person answering will not give you a name, the name of a company, or will not remove your number without a physical address....scam...also will not allow you to talk to a manager or supervisor
