There was a unknown number that called me in regards to a debt that needed to be paid the number they was 1855-873-7538

This is a fraud and do not respond or provide them with any of your account information.  These are fake docket numbers, and they are tyring to scare innocent people into paying old debts.  They cannot provide an address, have mailed nothing and have OLD information.  If you just have the time to sit on the phone and listen to the nonsense,  you will find yourself listening to great comedy.  They dont even have the good sense to have sensible answers readily available in theyre script in order to properly deceive you!!!! DONT FALL FOR IT- REPORT IT TO THE POLICE.  THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!!

my father in colorado received a message from a company calling themselves Legal Outsourcing Dept 866-409-6241 which said if I did not return their call immediately with case# 776567 they would send someone to my work to arrest me. since I am in california, I was not able to call until after 5pm. I received an answering machine and left a message. i wish i had searched first about the company before trying to call them back.

I had them call my mom and had a company call me today with a Doc # and said I need to call them.  They called me at 5:50pm and they called my mom before me.  So I talk to Lisa Perry and got the doc # and the 877# to call them.  No answer...After about 10 rings...went to voice mail to Mr. Tate.  Tomorrow I am going to call and hear what they say.  Based on everything I read they are a scam.  But they called with a DOC #...So I will wait and see.  My mom called me and freaked out.  They told her I have until noon tomorrow or I will be served papers and will have to go to court.

I just recieved a call from Fred Walker too. He just left me two very "charming' messages stating he was enroute to my job with the local authorities. A total of 5 calls in ten minutes 2 voicemails and now an additional call. The number shows unknown but he left the following number 855-358-1232.

THIS COMPANY CALLED AND SCARED THE HELL OUT OF MY MOTHER , TELLING HER THAT THEY HAD A WARRANT FOR ME FOR A STUPID DEBT FROM ALMOST 6 YEARS AGO.

"Sharon Taylor" called a resident of our community saying she was with the Clay County, Mo., Prosecuting Attorney's office and that this office was getting to serve a "court summons with the Sheriff on a fraudulent activity." This is a scam. I am Jim Roberts with the Clay County Prosecutor's Office and if anyone calls you pretending to be our office, contact us.  Our main number is (816) 736-8300.

got the same call and they weren't able to give me very much information and I asked if it is a bill due from 2006 why am I only hearing about it now they just uh.. I went to my bank to get statements from 2006 it show that I never got loan and the teller told me that a lot of people have getting similar calls and coming in for old statements.

They are calling every person we know saying the same stuff, scaring my mom half to death. I think giving them the local police departments address to meet is the best answer. 1-888-446-3051 is the number they leave to call, but they call from a private or unknown number. What are they trying to hide?

This company calls me twice a week at least leaving messages for people who aren't me..  How many people could possibly have check charges linking to my phone number.  When I call back can't reach anyone.  If I ever get them on the phone and they ask where they can meet me, I'm giving them the address to the local police station parking lot and have an officer meet with them and see how much their tone changes.  I actually had this company call me a few years ago asking for me telling me that they had a summons on their desk and was coming to my house to serve me...I still live here and no summons.  I may not be a lawyer, but you aren't taken to court for a debt you owe unless you have broken some sort of contract and you are not summons my a debt collector.  In Texas, you are served by the Constable's office.  I sure hope that no one ever pays this company any money.  If you really are being taken to court, get a lawyer to validate the debt and make payment arrangements if possible.    THESE PEOPLE ARE DEBT COLLECTORS AND NOT LAWYERS.

This is a scamming, lying bunch of worthless a**holes. They claim they are a litigation company and that the name ACS doesn't stand for anything. They won't even provide a mailing address. They called me claiming that I owed an old debt for a payday loan. I asked them to send me written proof that I owed the debt because I had no knowledge of it. They said all the info I needed would be on the summons that I was going to be served with. I had a long discussion with a Mr. Tate at ACS. He said the only way to keep this out of court was to settle the debt over the phone that day. I refused since he would not provide me with proof that I owe any debt and I also don't deal with companies that won't even provide a mailing address.  They had a 'process server' named Fred Walker call and leave me a voicemail. He wanted to know where he can meet me so he could serve me with the papers. Then he said that he would come up to my job and serve me, and guess what? He never showed! Big surprise since I checked with my county and there has not been any lawsuits filed against me. Besides, real process servers don't EVER call the people they are trying to serve to find out where they can meet up. LOL!  Long story short, this company is a scam. NEVER pay them a penny and don't fall for their scare tactics. Report them to the Attorney General and the FTC if you receive any calls from them.

I also received a call from Fred Walker who claims to be a process server. He left a voicemail stating that he wanted to know where he could meet me to serve me with the summons. He also insulted me by saying that he would serve me at my house if he had to since I probably didn't have a job and I like to play games. Whatever...I was at work and he was calling me on my cell phone. Besides, when do process servers ever call you to find out where they can meet you? I called 888-446-3051, which is the number of the 'plaintiff' that he left on his voicemail. They won't tell you their mailing address or anything. I even asked them what ACS stands for and was told that it didn't stand for anything. I was told that the only way to keep this out of court was to settle the debt over the phone today. I told them that I don't deal with fraudulent scamming companies like ACS. I would never pay a company that won't even provide a mailing address for a debt that they have no proof that I even owe. Long story short, this company is a complete SCAM! I contacted my county courthouse and there has not been any lawsuit filed against me...and guess what? Fred Walker never showed his lying face up at my job or my home to serve me those papers!  This company is full of crap and just trying to scare people into paying debts that they probably don't even owe. DON"T BELIEVE ANYTHING THESE A**HOLES TELL YOU. Report them to the FTC and AG!

got call today from someone called Freddy Walker who wanted to give notice that my husband was being sued for fraudulent check and breach of contract. He left a case number and this 888 number to call.  Since Freddy wasnt able to reach my husband by phone he would be serving him papers at home or at work.

When we called the number back it's called ACS and actually has a message "If you've received a call about being served a notice" please ask for our legal outsourcing department

Since we haven't written a check to anyone other than friends and family - I know this is a scam

Person called and stated an arrest warrant was pending contact.  They stated we had 30 mins to reply before the officer showed up.  DO NOT BELIEVE THEM !!!   Contacted the police department right after the call, and the operator did a three-way call.  The person who answered denied calling, and denied making such threats. The officer told me they do not give out toll free numbers for any type of warrant or "collection".  DO NOT fall for their threats.  If you have ANY doubt - take down the information and call your local police to verify !
