The company is called Consumer Debt Assistance, but they also go by Modify Loans, Reliant Support Services, and Clear Path Lending. They are located at 16500 Bake Pkwy, 2nd Floor, Irvine, CA 92618. We keep receiving fraudulent postal mailings from them with NO return address listed. Just shows a stamp as PRESORTED FIRST CLASS MAIL, U.S. POSTAGE PAID, SACRAMENTO, CA, PERMIT NO. 1297. Looks like an Official Bill from either the DMV or the IRS, but it is NOT. On the front, it states : 2013 - Important Notice - Benefits Number : CTC####### - You have been pre-approved for a Credit Card Hardship Program. You need to contact Customer Service at 1-888-899-4510 no later than 10/11/2013 to take advantage of Our ZERO UP-FRONT FEES DEBT REDUCTION PROGRAM. Do not hesitate and call now before your pre approval status expires. FAILURE TO RESPOND BEFORE 10/11/2013 MAY AFFECT THE AMOUNT OF DEBT REDUCED. - You'll do well to notice that today is January 13th, 2014 and yet these morons are still sending this out.

I also received this post card and was curious of its authenticity. If all I have to do if go and listen to a presentation and pay just the taxes then it would be an awesome deal. My friend's parents did something like this and got a awesome trip to myrtle beach SC. They just had to go to 2 or 3 meetings and look at a few time shares for sell and did whatever they wanted the rest of the time. In return for that they stayed 3 nights at a incredible hotel and access to a country club and could play all the golf they wanted for free. So there is a possibitly that it could be legit, but more than likely a scam. Wouldn't pay a single dime for the taxes or fees until I was either at the airport about to get on the plane or at the hotel!!!! If anyone has actually done it and found out it's actually real or tried and knows for a absolute fact that it's a scam could you please let me know!! Thank you!!!!

Just received the same postcard that says Expedia in large letters at the top of both sides.  It then says "Congratulations! You are going to receive 2 Round Trip Southwest Airline Tickets to any major city in the continental U.S. plus a 3 Day/2 Night Marriott Weekend Getaway!  Fine print states that you must call for details and that it isn't sponsored by Expedia, Southwest, etc. No way am I going to call...this is definitely a scam.

Got a postcard today and the above post has a link that really does explain it. SCAM SCAM SCAM. I have called them and it sounds like a scam. "Please bring your credit card with you, we don't want the number we just want to see if you have one." We don't want any money from you either. I got burned by one of these travel traps years ago and lost $150. Learned my lessen then.

I just received the same postcard.  The company is called "Make us yours" and it is a travel agency not affiliated with Expedia.   I told the gentleman that I thought this was an Expedia offer and that I was not interested.  Be aware that when you call then, they automatically will get your number even if you number is blocked by default.  I am hoping I don't start receiving solicitations now.

Claim that you have won 2 round trip Southwest Airline Tickets to any major city in the continental U.S. plus a 3 day/2 night Marriott Weekend Getaway.   Plus a $50 Expedia Hotel cash gift card.  Have to go and listen to 90 min presentation.  But the fine print indicates you have to pay taxes, processing and registration fees.  Also fine print indicates that promotion is not sponsored by Southwest Airlines, Expedia or Marriot. Sounds like a scam to me. I called the number asked about the fees...how much...but they declined to provide that information.  Sound like a scam to me.

This number is listed as contact number on SouthWest Airline/Expedia giveaway - except that the come-on is apparently a travel-club scam dating back at least two years. See
