Received a message from "Monica" to call 888-454-0555 to "touch base" and answer a few questions about my account.  Call was originating from 801-617-7998, but could have been spoofed.  Since this is a UTAH number perhaps the NSA/Big Brother  was calling.

It is a Morgan Stanley office, I have clients with accounts there.  However, I would mail a client who didn;t know me a form to fill out.

Claims to be Morgan Stanley.  I do have an IRA account with them, but they asked detailed financial questions, requesting information I have never revealed to any other financial firm:  net worth, liquid assets, income tax bracket, etc.  I refused to answer and asked for a written request.  They claimed that a NY Stock Exchange regulation requires that they collect this information from their clients, but they have never sent me any explanation in writing.  Googling this 888 phone # I found only a Website linked to the American River Conservancy.  Is this a solicitation for a donation??
