Not a scam. I traced the owners of my old debt to them. I started with the actual cc company and each number gave me another number to call. Granted..their tactics are a bit harsh,but as a few ppl said..I should not have let it get to this point...especially for thr lil amount that I owed. I think they are not lawyers, but ppl using whatever method to get the money for the people who hired them. When I spoke to the gitl she told me they dont actually come to your job.

The name of the company was BG & associates, so it's the same guys everyone else here has heard from.  Total scam, I haven't incurred a debt in over 20 years, either totally made up or complete fraud!

Got a call from this number with the caller trying to appear official and intimidating.  He never once mentioned our name but said we were suspects in an ongoing investigation.  He mumbled out some random charge and instructed us or our attorney to call him back, likely assuming we would not have an attorney, which we do.  We never owe money, and since the number was not a local law enforcement number but rather an 888 number, the call screams fraud.  It sounds very intimidating, yet comical.  I would suggest never giving any info out to this number.

online payday loans, form out of the country companies, have not merit in US legal courts, otherwise they would have sued, governing laws of Nevis and s*** like that, do not be scared people, they can only threatned you

First their was a guy sayn his name was Anthony Demarco. He said i owed 3 online payday loans from 2009. He said they were 1000 dolas a piece on Feb. 9, and 10. Number 1 I had my income tax I didn need any money. He had addresses of me in very unfamiliar states. 4 other states to be exact. Ive never leavd out of the state of Arkansas. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are gettn on my damn nerves. Then their was this guy that calld my aunt his name was Thomas Pierce. These two guys call from the same dang number trying to scam. Ha!! Guess what the scam is on them. They aint gettn ISH!!!!!

Said it was a legal matter and to call him back asap.

This is a scam they buy very old debts and try to make you pay for them.

The caller from 888-463-7565 is a scammer trying to trick people into giving him credit card information or the names of relatives who he could also prey on.

Do not give any information.  Block the number on your phone.  If you really did owe money you would get a letter in the mail; not some phone call from a guy who does not even speak clearly.

John McClain at 888-463-7565 called a few times.  Never said what he wanted other than to tell me that there are judgements against me and that I should call him. For what?  His message was sort of like random legal jargon from a first-year law student.

Scammers do not pay them a penny or give them any info!  A scammer set up a minor crash with my daughter.  Then he hired these creeps to try and shake me down and settle out of court.  I said not a dime and I will see you in court.  It ended.

I got a call from this number(he never identified the company) and the man started off telling me he was a private investigator.  He kept putting me on hold so he could talk to the business that I had the credit card with.  Then he let me talk to the lawyer for the card company.  Some of the statements were you can be charged with theft, you can be sued.  I offered to make monthly payments and was told that there could not be monthly payments.  The last person that I spoke with (the lawyer) said that he just spoke with the company and he could reduce my debt and allow me to pay 15%.  He asked for my debt card info since I don't have another credit card of a bank account.  I did some research and they have no right refusing payments, can not threaten you.  The biggest was that the credit card company has nothing to with the unpaid balance anymore.  It all goes to the collection company.  I am now having second thoughts about paying these people.  I am getting a letter or so I was told from them.  I am going to respond to the letter as I have above.
