I get these calls all day on my home phone, but today I got it on my cell phone. NOT OKAY!!!

I had a phone call today 11/23/07 from a male who had a very deep  "scarry" voice  (sounding like  was trying to diaguse his voice) clled me by my name said he was calling about my  gas  credit card ( which he called the name of credit card and my crdit card is not past due) so I immediately told him to not call me any more and to take my name off list he tryed to interrupt but I hung up the phone. I immediately called  my crdit card they stated do not know who called  advise them to take my name off all info and I do not want any telemarketers calling me that I hve my phone lised on donotcall.gov any more calsl will be reported

Wanted a commitment to donate $20.00 to Navy Veterans Assn to facilitate sending care packages to service members. They had my name and address and said they would send me a pledge card to sign and to send it back to them with the money order or check. A man did the initial talking and after getting my ok to send a pledge card then transffered me to female saying that she was customer service and gave me my name and address and asked if that was correct. IS THAT A LEGITIMATE OPERATION FROM THAT NUMBER?

Usually don't pick up due to the unknown on caller id, but did today.  I heard a beep, then a girl's voice giggling asking for my husband's name.  Told her he was unavailable and asked who's calling, more giggling, said she'd call another time, click.  This number shows up a lot and usually don't answer.

I call and the message said this number is not in service

I too get all kinds of calls from one of these numbers especially 888-465-3152 several times a day.  Like all the other posts, never leave a message but you can hear background noise before your answering machine shuts off.  If this is truly a CitiCard company or someone they hired to do this type of call, there is nothing we can do about the calls, even if our phone number is listed on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  Why? They have what in legal terms is called a Business Relationship with us.  So if you have a CitiCard credit card, they have every legal right to call you, but definitely not to the point of being annoying and why won't they speak to us.  Probably because their phones are set on auto dial and they have several calls go through at once and can only speak to one person at a time.  But I was told by a friend who happens to be in law school, that if you get fed up with the calls, to call the customer service number on the back of your credit card, and tell whoever you get on the phone that you no longer wish to have telemarketing calls for their current promotions.  He said they have to enter your complaint and abide by your wishes or they are in trouble.  So I tried it so have to wait and see if it will stop.  I was told I should not be getting any more phone calls or emails within one week.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Called today and hung up when I answered. Called it back and message says it's no longer in service.

4 calls today...have a daysleeper here trying to sleep through them....seriously annoying.

number showed up on caller ID. Tried to call it, and got number  is not in service at this time.

Same thing for me.. their caller id is Watch Guard. Don't pick up because I don't know who it is. These calls just started and from the looks of these posts, they will continue. Oh joy! Another annoying call to screen.

Well it looks like the jerks at Citi got a different "Toll Free Call" number to abuse me.  So far only two calls from this new number, 2:30 PM Thursday and 8:32 PM today.  A few more calls and I will also block this number on my phone.  Buying the call-blocking phone was the best investment I ever made to eliminate the violation calls, currently totalling over 1100 since I  listed on the "Do Not Call" registry.

Their old number 888-485-0975 called my unpublished and DNC registered number a total of 95 times, 23 of them in one day.  The calls stopped 08-05-2009.  If the government ever wants to do something about these serious violators, I have a list of the date and time of every one of their calls.  

I never answer anyone who won't identify themselves and seriously suggest EVERYONE not answer any "Toll Free Call".  Unanswered and blocked calls eventually might put the callers out of business.

ok guys this is how it goes they are telemarketers yes but a computer generates the numbers the ppl on the phone dont know who they are going to get they dont mean to be a pest its citi bank themselves that give the numbers to call although i can understand that they are making your lives difficult it's not their fault they are just ppl trying to make a living and most are just students trying to make money for tuition how do i know this because i used to be one of those ppl you will get several calls some for promotional offers some for a thing called credit protector.
I have called deaf ppl others that have died and to hear the upset in the families voices was too much for me. so i was let go. good news though they are currently down sizeing so there should be less calls. and for future refference they dont want to talk to you as much as you dont want to talk to them. please try to be undrstanding. even though they are telemarketers they are human. i have said my peace i will leave it at that.             remorsefully , a former citi employee

This is a CitiBank number.  Probably some promotional offer or something if you call it back there should be an option to have your name and number removed from their telemarketing list.

Calls several times daily. leaves no message, and no one is there when you do answer.

Got a call from the hacks yesterday while I was out; no message either.  What an annoyance!

calls 2-3 times a day.never pick up the phone for these numbers.

DO NOT PICK IT UP, it tests to see who would answer and if answered you will be put on calling list (which will be made available to other telemarketers) even if you are on DNC. Its some kind of crazy loop hole.

i got many calls from this number with no message, when i called back i got a company named Watchguard and it said it was a telemarketing call please type in the number they called. i hung up. it's very annoying

I too was harassed repeatedly by unwanted calls like others. It could very well that the callers are paid by the number of calls they made irrespective if they got any response or not.

Getting daily calls. Like everyone else, I hear someone on the line, but they hang up. If I call back, I get into a voicemail system offering information on Citibank credit cards. There is a choice to opt out of future calls, but you have to give them you name and address, which will undoubtedly lead to junk mail.

ask to speak to my husband, and if he is not home they want leave a message they call my house at least three times a day i am getting tired of it and i want it to stop!!!!!!!!
