Got msg other day from this number to both my cell phones, left msg on 1 about serving me legal documents.  Tried the # and all agents were busy 3 times.  Just got another call from this # and lady asked for robert lopez.  I dont know any r.lopez and told her so. Hung up. Ive been harassed by same types of calls before and went to ss office and police dept about it since they had all information about me and wouldnt stop calling.  They stopped after I told them what I had done.

Rec'd the same type of voice mail message.  Stating that a fax just came across his desk and he needs to know where we can meet so he can serve me with a summons.  I have never received any written documentation in the mail about anything of this nature.  Stated his name was Doug Winters and that I needed to call him back immediately.  It will be a cold day in hell before I call him back.  He's just another scammer trying to get personal information.

Look it up.  Most likely  there is no such court case.  They are an illegal Internet Payday loan lender and will use all kinds of scare tactics.  Even if there were a court case, you would win!!!

I recieved the same calls and ignored them, because i listened to everyone on this thread, but sure enough i had a man dressed in a suit come to the hospital that i work at and handed me a summons from GV Funding, stating i was being sued for 1100.00 from a payday loan from United Cash Advance. I did take the payday loan out, i just wasnt able to keep up with all the money they were taking from my account. I only borrowed 500.00 and United took over 700.00 from my checking account over a 5 month period so i shut down my checking account. Does anyone know if i can beat them in court.

I have done everything possible to get this to stop. But to no aval.  It's a scam.

So I got a recorded phone call from a doug williams but the number left was 8887641622 presented on my phone as 0000000000.   What should I do? Ignore this phone.  I had a payday loan but was paid for.    Any suggestions

Everything like this is happining to my family RIGHt NOW a few weeks ago got a random call from 000-ooo-0000 and then the automated DougWinters guy, and then I take to someone LIVE who said my family member (names undisclosed for obvious privacy concerns) was getting sued for bad debts/ checks? I found this website when I Google the 1-888-476-4162 phone number this is serious everybody they had our reallypersonal inormation including The NAmES ONtheLAND DEeD!!!!!!!? I think I'm gonna call the police actually who DO u call 4 something like this? Icantbeleive this s***....I GUESS  the woman named Patty is #$%&  #&$&*#$&%..!!!

Everything previously mentioned was left on my recorded.  Said he would serve me at my place of employment.  Is that legal?
Other number associated are: 603-760-1110 and 201-257-4939.  Same routine.

Yea, I got that too.  $900 for an unpaid payday advance from paydayone.  Didn't happen.  Talked to middle aged American sounding females.  You can't serve over the phone I beleive.

This number called both my cell and work at the exact same time, left the same message, saying it was Doug Winters and he needed to set up a time to serve me with papers for writing a bad check.  I haven't written checks in years.  Told me to call 888-476-4162, called, got a real person, they knew it was me calling, and said they had a file in their office from a bad payday loan.  Said they would file a dispute.

Got same message but from a guy named Doug Winters and that he wanted to serve me with some papers for writing bad checks. I've never had written out any bad checks before. Called the number back twice and was told to leave a message both times.

Just got a call that showed up on the caller id as 000-000-0000. Got a recorded message from a guy saying he was Doug Winters calling to serve me with papers for writing a bad check. Told me to call 888-476-4162. Sound bogus to me.

Got the exact same message as mona.i dont even write checks so i called to figure out what was going on and they said all agents were busy and i needed to leave a message.
