It is Fingerhut. So far I have identified the following numbers that they use if you want to add all of them to your call blocker like I have. ps: I also do not owe them anything but they call so all the numbers are blocked. Fuquem! My phone doesn't ring anymore because I have them blocked.

I also have a bunch of the political robo-calls, scammers like bankcard services, etc. on the blocked list. I am just about ready to shift over to using a white list, then if they are not on the white list they are automatically blocked. I do this using CallClerk software and a laptop computer hooked to the phone line.

These people keep harrassing me with phone calls for someone else and will not take me off their list.  They have the wrong number.

Here's the Customer Service Hotline, which may be a helpful number to have. Perhaps if they are called and told they are calling the wrong person, it may make a difference. I don't know, but it can't hurt to try.

i got back from a two month trip, and i had 12 or so voice mails saying the same thing but for a guy named Jeffery moral? i have no idea who he is but he owes a lot of money and i keep getting his calls.

They have called and called and left numerous messages. They wanted someone I have never heard of to call them back. I finally came to this site to check out who they are. I have never heard of fingerhut. Besides, they were not looking for me. I decided to call them to tell them to stop calling me. The automated voice asked me if I was someone (the name they used over and over) and I entered "no" and I was hung up on. I called back, and entered "yes" and thought then I would get to talk to someone. No. I got 3 choices, my payment on the way, I will be making payment in 5 days, and something. I didn't have any other choice. I tried "0" for operator but no such a choice. After I tried to call back again, and didn't select one of those choices, I was disconnected.

Fingerhut, do you care if the number you called was a wrong number? The real debtor did not know you called me dozens of times!

yes they want their money but they are calling my number and that number does NOT belong to the person that owes them money. I just bought the phone and have no outstanding debt..

Good luck getting off these bottom dwellers feeding list. Whether Fingerhut, Alpha Recovery Group, or any other telemarketers or robocalls. Any 800, 888, 877 calls hang up. They will ask for so and so, knowing you will say 'no, sorry you have wrong number' only to quickly say correct name of someone they are looking for, whether you know them or not. Also misleading is their use of prepaid phone cards with 'local' numbers, same ruse, just appears local. NO, your 'do not call list' like Obamacare, Medicade, Prohibition, securing borders of soveriegn country, the 'do not call' list is another failure in case you signed up and only thoguh scammers, telemarketers, and others 'don't share your information' of course they do. So whether you have account or not, will get calls like this which is frustrating and annoying, and good luck stopping them, it is not like there is 'spam cop' or any other entity they fear.

i understand them calling if they have a account. I never have, nor do i want one. You can tell them to stop calling but like other 'laws' people ignore, driving without license, no car insurance, stop signs, 11 million illegals in country, irs, nra spying, id theft, you on your own and unfortunately the calls will continue as they pass your cell or land line along over and over to telemarketers, scammers, others 'in the business' who will call all day or night from 800, 877 or 888 number, there may or may not be anyone on other end of line who may or may not care or worse just hang up with computer beep, good luck to all.

I have a Fingerhut account, but my account is up to date and the balance is very small, not even $50.  I'm not buying anything else right now, so I just won't answer.

...sue for what? if you owe them money....it is what it is...you have no basis...just tell them to stop calling, it's that simple.

...all you have to do is tell them to stop calling, and if they are calling you on your cell phone then by law they have to stop...if you tell them to...look up the creditor laws in your state, now if you aren't picking up the phone any creditor, can call you however many times a day until 9pm....

I had the same thing happen?  Answering machine said my name and to call back re a debt.  Im suspicious because Im not behind on my bills.

Received a call from this number claiming to be First Credit on a debt.  Im suspicious because I am not behind on my bills  Anyone else have info?

Answer machine talks says my name and said to call back  and you call back the same way your name and phone number  and press 1 to say if it you sounds like a prank..1-800-484-0242

That's an Illegal abuse, the intentionally created an electronic speaker that is impossible to understand. They ask for your home phone number. Actually sounds something veryyyyyyyyyyyyy illegal.

I keep getting calls from this number at home and the message they leave is

We have an important message for "recorded name" Brooks Nelson please have them call us back- No indication on who these people are no This is Such and Such calling etc. This needs too stop now. On the Caller ID it just shows Unknown Name and the number

Call Fingerhut Directly- Tell them you aren't the person they are looking for- any documentation that you might have will help them fix the problem

They call for someone that doesnt live at this our telephone number.

Let them know they are violating the TCPA and FDCPA by robo-dialing a cell phone and harassing a non-debtor and you will take legal action against them if the calls don't stop.

I keep getting phone calls from this number for someone who apparently had my tracfone number before ... they're harrassing me and using up my minutes for nothing.  How can I stop this?

They call me so that I can use my credit line.  I'm all paid up and they want me to order more.  They sent me a HUGE Christmas catalog.

I get this call and I've NEVER ordered anything from  FingerHut or anything that takes monthly payments. If I buy something, I am certain I have the cash for it on hand. It's getting out of hand and I've even put my name on the national do not call list. I am getting fed up with calls early in the morning when I am usually up late for work and things of that nature.
