I got this same phone call at my work in sept 2010 or 2009 (not sure). the call was from Courtney Hanson. with ADR FIRM. gave me a claim # and said i have officially been notified. verified home and work adresses for "servicing". I was in a panic. I could not find anything online at the time to say if it was a scam or not. And I did not want to have those kinds of conversations at work!
so I ran across the street and called the # given to me, Nationwide Mediation Firm. 888-491-1156 x308 Charlie.
he also gave me extx 314 Rex. they said something about being a pre-litiguation office. and all action would be held if i agreed to set up payments. I did not know what to do. they asked for $25 right then and there, and of course i did not have $25 in my account but I set it up anyways. then they wanted 2 payments, each $147.50.
i got a phone call the day before each payment was taken. so i still do not truely know if this was a real company or a scam. that is scary. but when they are threatening you at work with charges and dragging your employer into it, you tend to panic.
i do remember I told the man I talked to that a "Courtney Hanson" called me and he did not know who that was. said it must be someone associated with the sherrifs office. i remember this all so clear, and of course have notes on every person i spoke to.
i hope someone can shed more light on this.

I got a call from this number saying they deposited money into my account and that I did not pay it back and that they are going to take me to court. I never had money deposited into my account and now they are telling me that charges are going to be brought on against me.

Got a call from this number and they said the company was "Nationwide ADR" and that they could not give me any further information (like mailing address to mail a certified "do not call" letter to) "for security reasons."
They also claim they are serving me with papers, and are giving out my personal information to third parties.

They called and said they had a claim # in their office, said something about legal process, implying a lawsuit or who knows. Took it to my lawyer, Daniel Schafer at www.justiceintexas.com and he said this is a company in California that keeps changing names, but uses the same illegal tactics. He took care of it.
No more calls. No more intimidation.

Took a call on behalf of a coworker from call from Courtney with ADR Firm, who said she has now been officially notified and if she did not resolve the matter of a credit charge immediately that papers would be delivered to her place of employment, for which they already had the address. When I asked when the papers would be served, I was told that this information would not be released to me because it was a sensitive matter, even though a whole slew of other information was readily given, including the nature of the problem and the claim number... sounds fishy to me.

I got a call from this number stating that there is a claim against me and that there are charges against me. They wanted to verify my work and home address as well, and then said I have officially been notified.
