Fidelis Management Group. Mr. Stubblefield called my HR department. Claims he spoke to HR and asked for procedures in serving me. Told me I had 48 hours to pay.
Also claimed he worked for a law firm. Searched the internet and the company is a debt collector.

These people at this number keep calling myplace of employment I never heard of them or owe anything. They are going to get me fired if the continue to call please stop them now!!

they just called my sisters and told them that they are from a payday loan company, and this mr. sullivan is going to file civil against my husband.
I called them back and tell them go ahead, first of all they are not suppose to notifiy my relatives of any debt, 2nd if they are going to file a suit let them, my husband collects only social security and the cannot be garnished and we have no more income. I called the guy a few names, which I know I shouldn't but he kept yelling, and my temper got to me. I should of never dropped down to their level, well I am waiting for the civil papers and will go to court if i have to, but i am also writing the attorney general in my state, for the lack of courtesy and what this man said about my husband...

They called and said it was a legal issue that involved a relative and my husbands name was also on the paper and if he didn't pay he would go to jail. Then gave us a case number to make it sound real. The first thing I did was looked on the internet.

If you receive a call from this number then please do not feel threatened. You cannot be arrested for the type of debt that they are describing that you also probably do not have in the first place. They will threaten you so report them to the following:

There is an easy form that you can fill out online. Please keep everyone informed by posting about these calls. We are our first defense on this new and wide spreading scam. This man is actually the 5th different person (diff company and all) to try this in 4 months and I did fall for one. I paid over $300 and I have nothing to show for it. SO beware and help us all by saring your experience and complaining to Washington until we have this scum running scared.
