Woman caller gave her full name and claimed to represent my Medicare Part D insurance carrier, trying to resolve billing problems. It didn't seem like a phrishing call, because my account billing has been messed up recently. She asked my name, address, and date of birth, so the call seemed suspicious. I don't know how to tell whether it was legitimate.

They are one of many Medicare Part-D insurance companies! I had them for the past two years, and they do things differently, such as a deductable amount at the begining of each plan yerar, Jan. 1rst! However they charge less per month, ie; $36.00 per month compared to Humana, who charges $81.00 a month for a very similiar plan! One thing anyone who has dealt with Medicare, Social Security, and an insurance company who must each do their part, ( If they know what that is or not?!) in order to run the Part D program with any efficiancy, ( again ?????)! However I have had Humana in the past and decided to go back to them for this year, 2013 which has reminded me why I left them and chose CCRX several years ago! I have been in Medicare since the inception of part-D, to which I am speaking to, and have had quite a few battles with the whole process! But to be honest I am considering going back to CCRX, or getting a different insurance provider due to having problems with Humana, such as inconsistent costs at the pharmacy, to which a Humana cust service person told the pharmacy assistants, (when asked why I paid a little over 2.00 a script, the first time, for same medication) on Jan. 2nd, 2013!!? The reply the pharmacy got was, " the patient, [me] had a Extra Help subsidy which expired on Jan 4th!" I han't had any "Extra Help" for 3 years or so!!!! Not only was that a false claim, it was assnine to put it right! The next reply came quickly " he hasn't met his deductable yet" I have no deductable in this plan!!! Why did I have to tell Humana what they should know? Anyway there is more if anyone wants to know the truth about the whole Medicare part-D program, my email is mikebdtb@gmail.com! Subject s/b "part-d"
Sorry this is so long!!!! But the truth can get lost, even before I can do the "spellcheck" on this blog!!!

Randy Whitt is right. It is CCRx and they are a part of Medicare's drug coverage. Didn't know there were premiums until the bills started coming in.

I have repeatedly ask them to remove my number and to stop calling me because I am not going to give them the information they desire, DOB and SS#.

Community CCRX is a legitimate company but a pain in the butt.they sound like a good program until you learn they have a deductible that has to be met before they help with drug costs.I was paying them more a month then my out of pocket expense.

Fraudulent phishing group using the name Community CCRX prescription drug plan.
They say they have been appointed by Medicare to administer drug coverage. They want social social security numbers and full name.
