serious b***s*** harassment

I am ready to file suit against them. I got my NEW phone number about 6 years ago. They have been calling me for all of  those 6 years. Anyone else into a class action law suit.

They never leave a message.  I see on other comments, the caller is identified as 'West Asset Management', a debt collector.  I never answer unknown numbers.  My caller ID said ' Serenity Living' matched to this number.  If it is a debt collector, they're 'spoofing' their caller ID info.

The company called with a 415-798-2489 number. Tasha Brown or whatever her name is requested to call back 888-517-7852. Some idiot man answered. I advised him that the person they are looking for does not have this phone number as I have had it for 5 years. He proceeded to ask for the last 4 digits of my phone number. I said "you called me, how do you not know the number. If you do not remove my phone number, your company will feel the repercussions." The idiot stammered and I hung up.

They have called here several times, the last two times I decide to answer in which the recording says the call is for someone who does not live here.  There is a prompt that is if this person does not live here press 4 in which did. Then it preceeds to connect me with a rep who ask for that person.  I mentioned that I pressed the prompt which should have told them that person does not live here.  She wanted to know if I knew that person.  Even if I do I will not tell because with most of these kinds of calls they will not even give me any info when I ask (i.e., phone number, who they are and address) but this lady did.  I did ask her to remove my number of their calling, so we shall see if that happens.  This company is West Asset Management out of Sherman, Texas.

Caller: 1-888-517-7852 they want me to deposit some money, for a debt collections and  I say from where? he say i can not tell you that because we are a  private company. and I say: would you give your money to someone that do not know?  he hung up on me then.

I got a call last night, One call was asking if there would be someone home to receive the documents by mail about a law suites. I was given this other number to call. I called and a man answered, I don't remenber his name. I was advised that an assistant attoney was on another line in regards to my unpaid account and I was being sued unless we could resolve it by phone. After a while of me explaining that I have no debts with any company, he insited that I pay before going to court. He transferred my call to the Hardship department and Olivia Rodriegez gave me an account number since they could take money by phone. I have a Bank of America account number that I am supposed to deposit cash into. I have read many things about this phone number and feel it is a scam. They also stated the company was BGR.

they have just recently started calling early in the mornings at around 6am or 7am being the earliest.. they have callled 3 days in a row now i dont answer it...since i dont know them. but this is starting to get really annoying. glad i looked this up before i started cussing them out -___-

This company constantly calls my home. Some times calls are automated, other times there is a person. When they call they always have the wrong name. No matter how many times I tell them that the person they wish to speak does not live here, they continue to call. This morning they called and  once again I informed them, that the person does not live here. They told me they are going to remove my phone number from their list. But I know they will call again next week asking for a different name.

This number calls my workplace for employees all the time.  they have been told NOT to call our company number anymore, but they continue to call anyway.  They have been told that employees can NOT recieve these types of personal calls at work, but still they call over and over and over.  They call sometimes 3 or 4 times a day for the same person.  Then they also call for different people, so I am guessing they auto dial my work number numerous times a day. Annoying and rude and disrespectful, and now breaking the law by calling AFTER they have been told that employees can not get these types of personal calls.

Someone named Michelle Henderson called stating that they needed to speak to me about an important matter.  They called my place of work!!! I really don't appreciate them calling my work!!!

This shows up as West Asset Management on caller ID. I am a student in College and for the past few weeks they have been calling my parents and my grandmothers house asking for me. They call at least 5 times a day and when one of my family members do answer the phone they refuse to release any info about who they are and why they are calling. I have no idea how they got those phone numbers in the first place, especially my parents, its a brand new number! I looked the company up on Google and it says its some sort of debt collection agency...which is weird because after I saw that I pulled a copy of my credit report to see what would trigger the calls, and there was no bad debt on there!

I have been having this number call for months now,1-888-517-7852. One time i had actually got the call and they wanted my address, phone number etc. I refused to give it to the rude man, telling him that there has been phone scams in my area .His reply was " I can assure you that this isn't a phone scam" I laughed. I ended up hanging up and then he called right back isn't that harassment? anyone who has more info on this number please let me know because I am sick of it.

Never leaves a message or else it's an automated message that is only partial info b/c it starts 'speaking' right away & I miss the name they state. Only number shows on caller i.d. I know it's not me b/c I don't have any collections going on. I never answer anyway.

No name on caller ID. This in and of itself is illegal.

these people at #888-517-7852 calls me every single F'ing day. today I asked them WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT. they never told me. I then cursed them all out. And they Laughed at me. I told them To stop harassing me.

All I ask for is simple basic respect. If I don't know you or know about you then F you.

The message says West Asset Management and they usually ask for some person I do not know.  Last time, they simply said to call them back.  When I did, the man who answered, simply said, "hello."  I said, hello back and he said nothing.  Then he mumbled something I couldn't understand, but it sounded like he was reading from script in a monotone sort of way.  I hung up.  Wish I knew how to stop this, as we have no bad debt and know their phone calls are harrassment!

Caller asks for someone that does not live here. They identified themselves as West Asset Management.

Petite123, have you reported this company to the BBB? The name of the company is West Assest Management and their number is 1-888-517-7852. I looked them up on the internet and they have several locations in the state. I do not know what location belongs to this number as of yet.
And their is a number to be placed on a "Do Not Call" list. I believe you could call your phone carrier and find out the number for your area. Good luck!!!

I have been receiving calls twice a day or more from 888-517-7852, called West Assest Management. They are looking for Nichole Smith. My husband and I got tired of them waking us up early every morning so I stared 69 the call and got the number. I called and explained my problem to the company rep, but she tells me they do not see my phone number in the system.

I told her they had just called me about 30 minutes ago and she responded that my number does not show in their system so it must have been removed. I told her I would call back if we receive another call. Folks this is my plan of action if they call one more time:

First I am going to file a complaint with the BBB.
Then I will call Verizon and have their number blocked.

I will let everyone know how this turns out. Their customer service department needs training a.s.a.p.!!!

I have been getting 5-6 calls a day from them for 2 weeks.  Now they are calling only once in the morning and once at night.  No messages are ever left, and I don't ever answer their calls.  Nothing in the mail to verify the "debt", and I've never had a Sprint phone.

I have been receiving this call every day twice in the morning and in the afternoon, whenever I answer no body answer back they hang up I call them back and of course my number is not showing in they system, I talk to this rude lady with a name I can't pronounce and she get offended because I ask to spell the name to me. She got so rude that she was screming. And my problem still the same, she got very offended asking me for the correct number because she was saying I waesn't giving her a correct number. And the funny thing is that she knows, since all of you people have been calling with the same problem. My question is ( WHAT TO DO)? we need to report this to somebody.HELP....

I have comcast CDV and they have a screening list. Everytime these idiots call, they go onto that list then the calls stop for a while. They use more than 1 number but so far it works great. I do owe sprint money so the call is legit, but I refuse to deal with anyone that tries to harass me into paying that way. To WAM...get in line and grab a ticket. I owe way more ahead of you.

These guys keep calling looking for a guy that I've never heard of that owes Sprint phone company money.  I have Verizon.  I'm not sure why they keep calling me, but since incoming calls are free I just put them on hold OR talk for a while OR give them a run around.  I used to work for a credit card company so I know every minute they are on the phone it costs them a few bucks.  Also, I do ask to be removed but they call every few months anyway.  WTF.

They call me with an automated message that only gives a return number. No one there can tell me why they called since my number doesn't show up in their system. Since they can't tell me who they called, they blame me for not telling them who to take off their list.

When you ask for a supervisor they just turn to the person next to them and get them to pretend to be a supervisor. You can hear their conversation as they plan to feed you BS.

I called sales to get the number for lagal dept.  888-433-2886.  THey fed me the same BS I have been getting for weeks that they will put me on the DO NOT Call list.  The problem is that if they can't identify me as being called, the do not call list will not solve anything.  

The next time I get a call, I will start sending their own recorded message back to their legal department hourly until they fix it or charge me with harassment.
