The agent's name was Ethan, he talked my grandmother into giving Remote access of her computer and said it was full of viruses, the cost to fix it would be $250 and the process would take 5 hours. She declined. He pushed her hard for a credit card number. Century Link doesn't ask for a credit card, they add it to next month's bill from what I was told from a Century Link Supervisor. They don't even offer this service.

The call back number Ethan left was 888-524-1609 Ext 1015. When I called Century Link, they had no record of my grandmother called into their system, and searched the call back number Ethan provided, and it was listed as a Scam number.
