You probably don't want to know this but they are a legitimate AT&T marketing affiliate. If they try to sell you something, they are legitimately attempting to sell you an AT&T product or service. Marketing is marketing and no one likes telemarketers. But it's not a scam.

"It's very critical that you immediately call us regarding your ATT existing business account".....

....won't say why or what account ....yeah, right...my bills are paid... Watch out for these guys...they will fleece you.

My favorite lines from them when I called the 888 number they left on my message machine:  "I need to verify that you are the account holder.  Do you have the extra three digits on your phone bill?"  
Me:  What? I'm calling from the business number, returning YOUR call.  I am sole owner and you do have my caller ID  AND the call is recorded, so isn't that enough "verification"?

Them:  "Please give me your driver's license number to help us verify your identity."

I too am a "gate keeper" and just love playing "bouncer" to these kind of morons.

Dam right no access mate.  The only joy about Indian telemarketers.  As soon as you hear that accent, my brain is already in gear to say "no".

Constantly call the business, i do dispatching/office manager/bookkeeping. they call every two days asking for the person who is in charge of at&t account. They said they have mailed out several notices about the increase  in our account. I told them we have not received anything and they need to mail it out again. Andrew (no last name given) said that they have already attempted several times and they cannot send out again. I told them that was the a problem, and if nothing could be sent in writing then we cannot renew anything. He gave me attitude and said he will put a note on the account saying the "gate keeper would not give access". He said he would be happy to go over the bill with the owner, i told him what does our current bill have to do with a renewal he hung up on me at that point.

"Ricky Green" of AT&T called to talk about our account and if we were happy. Told him I didn't want to talk to telemarketers.

these fools don't abide by any set of standards. They have called me multiple times, and I did just what you said, and the moron replied "i aint doin s***"...and then hung up on me.  Real Classy to say the least.

MORONS called AGAIN.  Don't trust these fools.  Asked to be put on their internal Do Not Call List and I was told "I ain't doing s***" and got hung up on.  Classy.

Some moron named "tyler" from this company called me this morning claiming that my services with AT&T were about to expire.  I explained to tyler that I knew for a fact he is wrong.  He said I WAS WRONG about when my services were going to expire (we sign a 1 yr contract each year for our telephone service at our business).  I told him our services expire in JUNE, and I renewed with ATT IN JUNE, and I wouldn't be "renewing" services with ANYONE who calls me.  I will call them if I need to make changes to my account and he clearly didn't have current information.  He said I was wrong again, and I told him he needed to check himself and his sources, to which he said "I DONT NEED TO CHECK SH*T"... seriously.  These guys are beyond subpar for doing business with, and DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Scammers and Thieves.

The correct phrase is "Put me ON your do not call list". If you say "Take me off your call list" then they will do it and then since they have complied with your request they can now just put you back on. They are required to maintain a do not call list.

This company calls pretending to be AT&T calling about our business account for long distance services. They may be slammers.I have asked them to remove us from their list more than once.

Didn't answer because it was an 888 number.  Some girl named Erica left a voicemail and said she was calling for AT&T.

It just gets worse and worse.  You tell them to take you off the call list, they sell your number to other telemarketing scams.

Looks like these guys are back at it again.  I had removed their # from my call blocking to make room for other telemarketers.  This time, I answered knowing full-well it was a scam call.  The cheery, fast-talking salesman told me they were AT&T and calling to upgrade my phone service.  I had to interrupt him and told him that AT&T says that "you are not AT&T."  I then asked WHAT company they really were and he told me they were "associated" with AT&T.  I then interrupted him again and asked "what company are you with?"  He reluctantly told me he was with S4 Communications and I could find them on AT&T's website??? - I haven't bothered to check.  Finally, I told him that if I wanted to talk to AT&T that I would call them directly.  I then hung up as he was still talking.
Needless to say, S4 Communications is back on my call block list.

It's a Scam!  They lie about being with ATT.  They have no clue  about your account. Just the BS line that you have come up for renewal should be a clue to anyone who finished 5th grade.

They call about 2 to 3 time per week and no voice at the end of the off.

I received a call on my unlisted residential phone which is also on the federal do not call list. If this caller performs the federal criminal act of calling me, they cannot be trusted. Do not deal with them.

I keep getting calls from AT&T regarding "my business account" however when I call back, no one seems to know why they called. They can't find me in their system, and I think it's a scam.

THEY CALLED MY BUSINESS LINE.
I KNEW THAT IT WAS A SCAM CALL SO I LET THE MACHINE TAKE THE CALL.
NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT.  THIS NUMBER IS NOW BLOCKED!!!
I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED CALL BLOCKING PHONES FOR MY HOME AND MY BUSINESS.  PANASONIC AND UNIDEN BOTH MAKE CALL BLOCKING PHONES - I BOUGHT ONE OF EACH.
THESE PHONES ARE INEXPENSIVE AND THEY COME WITH A WIRELESS HANDSET.
EVERYONE - PLEASE GET CALL BLOCKING PHONES AND PUT THESE SCAMMERS OUT OF BUSINESS!!!
WE ALL KNOW THAT THE  "DO NOT CALL LIST"  IS WORTHLESS.
THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THESE CALLERS IS TO PURCHASE AN INEXPENSIVE CALL BLOCKING PHONE!!!

THEY CALLED AGAIN THIS MORNING AT 8:01 AM!  I WAS IN THE OFFICE VERY EARLY DOING SOME PAPER WORK AND THE NEW UNIDEN OFFICE PHONE SIMPLY LIT UP...IT HAS A LIGHTED DISPLAY.  THE PHONE DID NOT EVEN RING.  THE PHONE SIMPLY LIT UP - LETTING ME KNOW THAT A BLOCKED CALL WAS COMING IN.  IT MADE MY DAY - I HAD TO SMILE

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

They work beautifully!  These phones also block ?PRIVATE?, ?OUT OF AREA? and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every imaginable call list.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
--------NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.  THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
